This hotel is in a great, central location. We walked everywhere or took a $10 taxi to the major malls if needed. Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially if something went wrong (our laundry was late and even though we weren't worried they gave us an extra 10% off). The rooms are small but exceptionally clean and well attended. If you want a bigger room then just pay for it. We're in our early 30's and married and found the guests a good mix of young and old.

Legian 101 is a quite popular hotel because of its perfect location. Therefore the hotel is crowded, mainly with young pepole. Rooms are nice and very clean but a bit small. Staff is ok and generally helpful, though i had bad experience with the receptionist immediately after my arrival. He tried to cheat me, so we had some argument and he was very arrogant.
Food is ok, the restaurant is located on a beautiful rooftop:)) The pool is lovely.
The Spa was nice with average treatments but nothing extraordinary...If you look for some unique experience that`s not your place.

I would want to start the review with the fact that BALI is heaven on earth, i certainly fell in love with the place. The town is so enchanting that the hotel did not matter much, but the pros and cons are as follows;

The good things first;
1. The hotel is right in the centre of the most populated part of town, hence even at 2 am the roads are full of partying teenagers.
2. The atmosphere is certainly very lively.
3. You have everything from nightclubs to supermarkets right outside the hotel.

The good things end here.......now, for the bad part -

1. Calling the rooms small would be an understatement......don't ever dream of staying in a standard room along with a friend / partner.
2. The breakfast spread was another disappointment.
3. To top this, the staff was very rude and room service took forever.

Hence, we shifted out of the hotel after staying a night here. I guess this hotel is a hit with budget travellers as the tariffs are very cheap......but you can get much better places by paying a little more.

Room Tip: If you have to stay here, then go in for the suite room.

Visited 101 with friends for 3 nights. Rooms quite small but clean with comfortable beds.Good internet connection and choice of TV channels ( loved Fashion TV :) ) Room has a tea and coffee making facility,fridge, safe box and hair dryer . 101 is located in busy shopping and nightlife area, great stay for young people. Rooftop pool area really nice but drinks over priced for what you get. Cocktails priced usually IDR75000 plus tax and service charge (round 20%) , Happy hour buy 1 get 1 free priced IDR100000 plust tax and service charge...Not a great deal ! Paying for small ( cca 200ml ) cup filled with ice.....so talking around 150ml of liquid (x2) nearly £10... Bad marketing! Many people did not bother to join their party night because its a bit of a rip off! Sleep can be a little bit disturbed by people talking in the corridors as they passing by. We all enjoyed our stay in 101 and would stay again in future.
