“trendy hotel with great location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 22, 2013

Trendy hotel with great location (short walk to ground zero), many shops, resaurant and bars nearby. The room especially the toilet is quite small, but it has comfortable bed. Nice breakfast,
but not many choices. The staff service is good and helpful.

room is nice but a bit small. comfy bed. the hotel is clean, skypool and rooftop bar is very nice. a very good place to relax and chill with your loved ones. the location is great, lots of souvenir shops, 24 hour marts, branded lines and eateries along the street.

Legian 101 was the pitts!!!
Rooms are far too small, filthy and you can't stay in there for any length of time!!!
By all means stay if you love loud thumping music and shooters poured down your neck they even offer this with the wine!!!
Can't drink any other drinks in the lobby even the water they supply!!
Advertised that it caters for all ages it definitely doesn't I took my 19, 17 and 15 year old dreadfully disappointed!!!
They need to clean the hotel especially the lobby copuches are filthy!!!
NEVER AGAIN!!!

Room Tip: Don't book there!!

The Legian 101 at Legian Bali is an excellent place to stay. The bed is very comfortable. Though the room is slightly small, it was OK. We relaxed by the pool side in the evening. Could feel the cool breeze and there were beautiful fireworks. The location is excellent. Plenty of shops around. Choices of food around hotel were excellent.
The staffs were attentive to our needs and were very helpful especially the duty manager who attended to us.
Overall, it is good value for money. Breakfast is good and flling. Only thing is it would be good to have a clear plastic or glass cover for the salads / fruits because of the houseflies.

Room Tip: Stayed on 3rd floor right in the middle. It's noise free.

Stay here for 3 nights in Jan 13 it's ok if you are under 30 and like loud music from 4pm until 4am and people yelling all night other than that the hotel itself is clean, comfortable and cheap and the breakfast was ok. It's in a great location right in the heart of Legian st but if you are after a relaxing stay don't stay here. I will stay here again only because of the noise.

Room Tip: Rooms on the bottom floor might be quite but I don't think so

I was really excited to stay at this hotel after the reviews I found....what a shame.

We arrived at the hotel on the 28th of December. Had a lovely staff memory pick us up at the airport which was proberly the highlight of the stay as most of the staff were lovely. The hotel was not clean at all, the room was extremely small compared to the pictures on the website and on any reviews I found. The shower did not even have a shower curtain so water flooded the bathroom after even a quick shower. You were provided barely a roll of Toilet Paper which iI know typing seems wrong, but when you think about it, what a joke. The pool deck was full everyday and music was blasting from about 2pm until extremely late (which you could hear from your room).
Each day when the rooms were made, the staff forgot to repalce the towels - I had to contiously ring to remind them (you'd think after one day, they would remember the next 9 nights but clearly not). I would not recommend this hotel to anyone of my freinds/family.

Stayed for 2 days in January and it was my first time to Bali so had many questions. The staff was very helpful and all very nice especially after staying at many places after I now see just how good the staff was comparatively. Perfect place for 20-35 yr olds and great place if travelling alone as there is parties on the rooftop often. It isn't a great place if you are looking for a quite place though. It is more of a party vibe around the whole hotel. I was traveling alone and I met many people at the rooftop party within the first hour of being there. I really loved the location. Kuta beach is close and many markets and spas and food. Once again this is NOT the place to stay for peace and quiet it is a fun party place. I would stay here again. Very fun!

Room Tip: I think I prefer the rooms on 1st floor as they are a tab bit quieter. The third floor is okay if yo...
