We went to this lovely restaurant to treat ourselves on our last night in Bali. We were greeted by smiling staff who took us to our table which was situated in a beautiful garden with ambient lighting. Our table had our name painted on a leaf! We were approached promptly by the waiter who explained the concept of the restaurant and the drink menu. We ordered the berry Collins and shortly after the chef approached the table to discuss his creations and what the special tastings were on the appetizer. We order the tasting app and couldn't have been more impressed! It was a beautiful presentation with so many little tastes of everything including tuna tartar, ravioli, lobster bisque, and a fresh mixed green salad with perfectly ripe cherry tomatoes, marinated mushroom, and carrots. I ordered the panned scallop and my boyfriend had the braised beef. The scallop came out on a bed of purple mashed potatoes with crispy ham and purple chips dotted throughout. The scallops were cooked to perfection and it was just an outstanding dish all around. The berry Collins was very good with the berries and gin dancing around my mouth in perfect harmony with lime making an appearance. As far as the braised beef goes, I didn't get to try any because my boyfriend wasn't sharing and he didn't talk during his meal because he was enjoying it so much. After dinner for dessert I had the creme brûlée which consisted of 3 flavors, vanilla, coffee, and cinnamon. YUM all of them were delicious. My boyfriend had the dessert tasting which included a chocolate mousse, pana cotta, a vanilla creme brûlée, and a chocolate tart. (I think it was a tart) He also wasn't sharing this dish and didn't have much to say either because he was in dessert heaven! It was a wonderful experience from drinks to dessert! I highly recommend anyone who likes great food with great flavors to come and enjoy it!
