My partner and I where celebrating a birthday as a present for this he chose the Pullman as the special treat,what a dreadful mistake.booked in for 6 nights..When we got to the room it was damp and smelt of mould was over bearing,we both started with a running nose and felt sick .
I advised the reception and they sent up deodoriser , the room was full of Mosquitos we killed 25 and was given a can of spray which we emptied. We didn't sleep at all that night as the Mosquitos bit us all night .I reported this the next morning and was advised that the room would be cleaned and freshened .we spent each and every day as much as possible out of the room ,it smelt so bad and the Mosquitos where also every. Where. I was bitten 25 times the first , night and ten the next day .
When we arrived home the next night ,the room smell was worse and again on reaching the room my eyes itched and the streaming of my eyes and nose , we where offered to look at another room and to move no assistance was offered ,I declined I had unpacked three suitcases and had done two solid days shopping ,as our holiday was coming to a close .
That night three young men came to the room between us the death toll for Mosquitos was 35 ,bites to humans 15 , we spent another miserable night in the room ,the next day we returned home to find the smell gone but replaced by a smell of some petroleum based substance ,The Mosquitos numbered only 10 that night we did not open balcony doors or left the door to our room open .
The next day on returning from being out the smell had returned .
My concern about this is that. My partner who is from bali and had heard of the reputation of the pullman . Hhaving spent a great week on lombok Island ,at an amazing hotel at half the price , he was so dissapointed he had his surprise ruined , we had planned to have massages spa treatments and be pampered this didnt happen our on objective each day was to get out of the hotel as quickly as possible .I have been a home for one week and have found that the sinusitis has finally started to go today .
Disappointment isn't a strong enough word to describe our stay it was more like a punishment prison.
Don't bother ,unless you can smell the room first and also be ready to use lots of mosquito spra...
