I have so much to rave about this place.

It was my first time to Bali and the experience was forgettable.

I came to find out about Akhyati through websites and called in directly to find out more about the rates. The staff was prompt in providing information and we communicated through email. They offered very attractive package and I decided to take it up.

Since it was my first time to Bali, my worry was the transport to the villa which is located somewhere not near town. The package included airport transfer thru and forth.

From the airport to the villa takes about 30 mins, it may be a little far from the city center but soon that is all negligable.

My fiance and I booked a one bed room villa with private pool. Upon our arrival to the villa (we were alighted just in front of our villa), the villa is beautiful. It looks exactly the same compared to the pictures posted on their website. We received very warm welcome from the staffs.

The villa is very clean and the staff made constant effort to clean up the room.

The massage service was good and couples we are going to visit must not missed the romantic dinner they provide. The ambience created by the staff is superb!

I joined a half day tour arranged by the villa, visiting the volcano crater and terraced paddy fields. It was valued for money too. The staff was very nice to even suggest good place for dinner which was jimbaran bay. He made the effort to arrange transportation provided by the restaurant to send us thru and forth. The dinner at Jimbaran bay was fabulous. It was a pity that we didn't go earlier to check out the sunset. The dinner was affordable and worth the money.

Very very good place to stay and i will definitely visit again.

Just back from spending my honeymoon at Bali , we divided our trip into 2 resorts , the first being Akhyati Villas , its 30 mins from the airpirt but they arranged for our pick up , the guide was very very freindly and helpful, the villas are secluded , perfect for honeymooners, very cosy and very intimate , they have pretty decent size public pool with a bar , which we had pratically to our own , a couple of massage sessions were also thrown in , which were just H-E-A-V-E-N-L-Y , the staff were extremely freindly and really really polite, I didnt even know such kind of people still existed !! we were so happy with the villa that we actually extended a day just because we were so comfortable and so taken by the whole experience, the only downside was the food , the area in general is very secluded and the resort itself does not have a great in house menu , so food wise it was disappointing , but all in all I would totally recommend this resort and would stay there myself... Cheers...

We have just returned , having spent 4 wonderful days in Bali. Our stay at the Akhyati Villas & spa was even more wonderful. Though it was not a luxury villa, the service was excellent. The staff attended to all our needs and concerns with a genuine smile. They were efficient and always on time - be it for our cooked breakfast, our complimentary shuttle to town or to pick us up for our tours! i've never experienced such service even in a 5 * resort or hotel. The staff was also informative and pointed us out in all the right directions and places, so that we would not be ripped! This being our first trip to Bali, we really appreciated their help.

The villa itself, tho' quite far from the main road, is really serene, quiet and lovely. The pool was cleaned everyday. We had generous bottles of shampoo, shower gel, conditioner and even bath salts and 4 different sizes of towels for each person.

This place is certainly not for anyone who wants a shopping centre or an entertainment centre next door, but it's quite easily accesible to Kuta town itself.

All in all , my family had a memotable holiday - thanks to the people of Bali especially the staff at Akhyati Villas & Spa!

This was my sixth time to Bali, and as it was for our 10 year anniversary, I wanted something private and special.
Usually, when we are in Bali, we stay at the Le Meridien Bali. Whilst a fabulous hotel, we wanted something a little more private - and without the pricetag. In all honesty, it was also some reviews lately on Tripadvisor that made us decide to look for something new.
We could not have been more happier with our choice. I found the hotel website on Google and fell in love with the place at soon as I saw it.
I e mailed the hotel, and received a very quick reply from the manager offering us a fabulous rate including transfers, dinner on the first night, a massage and late checkout. The Akhyati is a 10 villa compound - very quiet, and private. It is located in Umalas village - about 10 min drive north of Seminyak - away from all the hustle and bustle.
We were upgraded to a 2 bedroom villa, at the back of the compound. The villas are set in a way that you rarely see other guests. Privacy is key here - and we loved it!
Upon entering the villa, you can see a pool (bigger than your usual plunge pool) and the bedroom, and the outdoor living area in a Balinese meets western theme, and extremely well done.
Spaciously and well appointed - it was beautiful, and the outdoor bathroom was sublime! Each bathroom is also provided with natural soaps - the conditioner was fabulous!
The living area had facilties for cooking, and every morning, your butler came in at your nominated time to cook breakfast, which you ordered the night before - and the menu was extensive! The bread basket was fantastic!
Although there is no restaurant at the villa, room service is available, and is very well priced and the food is very good.
I am unashamedly the type of guy that likes to stay at nice properties, and, believe it or not - turndown service is one of my indicators of a good hotel - and The Akhyati delivered!
Providing there are no guests to be picked up at Bali airport, the hotel offers free shuttles into Kuta, Seminyak or Legian.
The hotel also does day trips, and we went on a day trip to Ubud, Lake Batur, Mt Kintamani and Besakih Temple - which was amazing. Our driver also took us to his village where he was born, and we met his parents and drank fresh coconutmilk and we were treated like kings! It is this type of hospitality that the Balinese are world renowned for - and it was very special indeed. This type of hospitality does not come along very often.
The Massages and facials at The Akhyati are lovely, but they are a little pricey though - try COZY in Kuta - well reccommended.
Service at The Akhyati was always delivered with a smile, and very efficent. Laundry is also very reasonably priced - and always came back spotless.
Now, I do have to say though if you want a huge, big expansive hotel with multiple bar and dining options - this is not the place for you. If you want seclusion, peace and quiet, and some time your loved one - then I would definitely consider The Akhyati.
Being out of the Kuta area is only a good thing in my mind, and we did not mind the shuttle into Kuta or the 24,000 IND fee - only $6AUD! As for restaurants, there are not many around, but we were happy to eat out most nights. There are two fantastic coffee shops 10 min away - Cafe Moka and Budda Cafe - great coffee and pasteries.
We were blown away when we were presented with a painting at check out from The Akhyati - it is now proudly hanging up on our wall! It is these little touches that made the Akhyati so special.
Needless to day, we are already planning to go back nect year with friends and family - such a good place to relax!
Well worth staying!
