“Magnificent - make this place a first choice in Bali”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 20, 2013

We are notoriously fussy about our breakfasts. We had tried old favourites Cocoon and Bali Deli earlier in the week and left both only moderately satisfied. We tried Watercress on what we had read on TA and were amazed at HOW GOOD THIS PLACE IS. We started sampling 3 different smoothies (the super smoothie is superb) and tried the corn fritters and eggs, the baked bean and egg with Parmesan cheese pot and added a croissant.

You get this peaceful feeling when you are there - a sense of balance as you look across immaculate rice fields over the the wonderful but very material W Hotel.

Food, service, decor and price - all magnificent. Can't wait to go back for high tea.

“'very Tasty'”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2013

Just returned from a super yummy lunch at Watercress, Jl Batu Belig. Loved the Open sandwiches and the Cous Cous salad was fresh, very filling and nicely done with potato & carrots.
We liked the setting, and cool breeze coming trough the place.
We'll definitely return, to try the high teas. $ 15,- pp.

“Fresh tasty and healthy!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 9, 2013 via mobile

Just had a fabulous lunch at Watercress on Jl Batu Belig. This small cafe is obviously an expat locals hangout as everyone seemed to know each but the staff were friendly and the service was quick and smiley. The open sandwiches are to die for and everything else that went by smelt and looked amazing. AU$18 for two people 2 great sandwiches and 2 drinks - you can't go wrong!

“I want a watercress cafe where I live!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 5, 2013

From the moment we were greeted at the door I felt at home. Big smiles beautiful setting with a warm special atmosphere. I could of been in Byron bay or the south of France. Awesome coffee made to perfection, the freshest of juice. And the food was bang on. We decided to have the mahi mahi burger and a big shared tasting plate from the display. The only hard part of stay at Watercress was choosing from that awesome spread and if course leaving. Watercress cafe u salut you. Your professional and friendly staff made our stay!
See you again soon.
