Description: Slippery Stone is a relaxing casual eatery. The open kitchen and bar created a unique feeling of warmth and hospitality. A Balinese feel is presence due to breathtaking rice-paddy views, and the local farmers going about their day-to-day business. Our overall aim is to be accessible to everyone, a local haunt that people can afford to visit 2 or 3 nights a week.Philosophy Our passion is to deliver a truly unique experience, which is completely removed from the everyday. Whether it is the incredible food, with its exploration of the harmonies of flavors and its incredible beauty on the plate, or our staffs, whose sole aim is to create for you a seamless unique experience and capture the essence of our true hospitality. AmbianceThe airy space is large, with comfortable cushioned bench style seats as well as sofas, and the typical table placements, in a rice field setting so typically Balinese, around a pond water feature.

“Best Greek Restaurant in Bali...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 30, 2015 NEW

Do yourself a favour and head to Slippery Stone. Sam and Lazo a big thank you for transporting me back to Greece. The food was amazing! The atmosphere fabulous! It really was a wonderful experience and I couldn't fault the food or the service. If we hadn't had 3 bottles of Champagne our bill would have been very reasonable indeed. Like everywhere in Bali, the alcohol is not cheap, but this is nothing new. In traditional Greek style, we didn't look at the menu, we just left it up to the Chef Lazo and enjoyed the array of food that just kept coming to our table.

“Expensive”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed April 28, 2015

The drinks at this place are a total rip off. Oh, they did tell us that cocktails were two for one between 7 and 9pm, but they are $150k each, which brings them down to ordinary prices. I don't care whether the food is good, I don't pay over $50 for a bottle of wine in Perth, there is no way, I'm paying it in Bali.

“Absolutely Amazing!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 26, 2015

Thank you to Simon and all the staff at Slippery Stone Greek Restaurant. What a hidden gem in Bali! We could not fault anything and we quite honestly had one of the best nights so far on our holiday in Bali. Every part of the food was top notch, so tasty and fresh! The service was second to none, never an empty glass and lots of happy, friendly smiles. We enjoyed having a shot of pool and a few drinks in the sports bar down the back, also. You've got a good thing going here, Simon. We wish you every success for your future!

“Wonderful!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 25, 2015

This restaurant looks amazing but still has quite a relaxed feel about it, which is lovely and might have something to do with the Owner hosting and working the floor. We loved our meal and loved the fact even more that the Owner bought out a few dishes for us to share (we were a party of 8) and would bring out more if we were still hungry. This is my absolute fave way of eating out as you're able to eat what the chefs consider the best!!! The experience was great, from booking via Facebook messenger half an hour before we wanted to eat to receiving some Greek Easter Bread as a send off when we left. Go & enjoy!

“FANTASTIC food / atmosphere / service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 19, 2015 via mobile

We took our four person family out to eat and found this place by accident. We currently live in Bali and this is by far the best restaurant we have been too.

Kids comments - "BEST FOOD EVER, I'LL NEVER STOP EATING THIS"

the service is amazing and food is GREEK as Greek gets here. Highly recommend this restaurant and we will be coming back time and time again.
