Tonight I had my dinner at the Tulip restaurant in Bali. This is the first authentic Turkish restaurant in Bali.
I was pleassantly surprised with this since I have a Turkish background and I did not came across a Turkish restaurant in Bali yet.
With my Turkish background and being used to great Turkish cuisine I have really high standards and I am happy to say that those standards were met tonight.
As I entered and I got guided to my table a staff member welcomed me and brought me the delicious complimentary freshly baked bread with butter and a meze. The bread came right out of the oven and was still very warm. Within 5 minutes I was approached by another staff member who asked if he could tell me more about the different kinds of meze that they serve. I told him I would be delighted too and the staff gave an excellent presentation of the
18 different meze and the summary of the products were all correct. ( I make these dishes at home aswell therefor I was really curious if the staff could memorize everything. The staff did a great job.
It was also nice to see the
meze being presented like that. This is espescially quite handy if you are not that familiar with the Turkish quisine yet.
I ordered some meze and food and everything was delicious. All the staff were very attentive and reguarly checked if everything was okay. This gave me a very satisfied feeling. The staff looked representative and are all really friendly. The ambience of Tulip is amazing. It is a perfect setting for young and old, for a romantic dinner or a family gathering or just a friendly dinner among friends, I could not imagine anyone not feeling at home at this wonderful restaurant.
The price of the foodrange is really good, I think it is affordable for all kinds of people. If I remember correctly meze and appetizers are available from 25-30.000 IDR.
The restaurant is beautifully decorated and has a real luxury feel.
This is a restaurant I will highly recommend to my own friends and I can not wait to go back and try other meals on the menu!
