The starting point for this review would have to be a reference to the service. Faultless throughout, and very helpful.
They staff gave very informed advice about the quantity of food (which can be hard to know when ordering), what foods worked well with each other, plus guidance into other good dishes, all the while checking to ensure how much you liked / could handle spice. Also when ordering drinks etc, they were good about reminding you about water etc.
The food was also amazing. The highlight being the crispy pork belly entree (amazing), and the lemongrass panacotta. The latter being a delightful and refreshing end to a lovely lovely meal.
The other entries were both types of scallops. Unfortunately they brought out the pork belly first, which was so nice, it made the scallops a bit bland in comparison. Still very nice, just would have been nice if the scallops were placed first and then the Pork Belly.
For main, we had Tandoori Butter chicken. Which surprisingly is a little bit spicy (we were warned of this). I like spicy, my wife less so. It was really nice. This was accompanied by the Vietnamese Caramelized Duck. The sauce was lovely, but very over powering, and unfortunately you really couldn't get the taste of the duck in the meal. I loved both, but they also paled in comparison to the Pork Belly (which really is a must have dish).
Overall it was a lovely night. Booking was easy. The seats were lovely, the food wonderful, and the service fantastic, at an amazing price. I will be back.
