The staff were very accommodating and put up a bednet for the extra bed we had in the room. Although they charged for the extra bed, which was just a mattress on the floor, we did manage to fit both boys onto the mattress.
The restaurant did not make amazing food and it certainly changed part way through the stay, new chef?, also you can eat much cheaper in the village, but that is a trip and with kids often too much hassle. So it was good for us with young kids to dish up food they would eat. We also ate out and that was good food at both places we ate, 1 night at Matahari resort for posh nosh and 1 night at warung for BBQ fish, next door to Macro Bali Diving.
Aneka Bagus was great really, a few minor details like a big lump of plastic/suction pipe in the children's pool and no cover over filter room by pool. But this is Asia.
No TV and Internet only up by reception via mobile phone dongle, but if you neeeed internet then it works.
I dived with Macro Diving Bali, and recommend them highly.

This hotel is extremely run-down and in very poor condition. The pools are the only good thing going for this hotel. When we arrived there was no hot water to the rooms, a giant hole in the roof meant that every time it rained the water leaked straight onto the TV. The bathrooms are just yuk - couldn't use the showers at all because they were so clogged with calcium residue, so what water did manage to run out of the shower head went everwhere except on you. The mini-bar wasn't stocked, so you had to walk for some time to find a shop which sold drinks & snacks. They don't even have tea & coffee facilities. The air-conditioner in one of our rooms didn't work, even after asking for it to be fixed. Mozzies was another problem - even though you do have a mozzie-net over the bed - you are given some indoor mozzie coils to burn, however, they always seem to be around. We won't be staying here again!

Room Tip: Stay somewhere else!

Sorry but as much as we liked the pool not to clean the rest wat terrible room stunk, spa that they advertise is a cesspool causing mozzies as is the fish ponds. Mantaince was non exististant only on half staff and they are lazy had to ask to have toilets at pool cleaned, as disgusting, had to have mozzie coils on at all time to mask smel in rooms did not put clothes in wardrobe as stunk. Completely false advertising has had it's day.

We stayed here for 2 nights after coming over to Bali from 2 weeks in Java. So this felt like a paradise. Quiet, not at all exclusive or posh, away from all the tourists, perfect. Beautiful zen garden with hundreds of frangipani in bloom were enough for me. The rooms were enormous, big bed all 4 of us could sleep in it comfortably (2ads +2kids). Nice clean bathroom - with a proper toilet (yeyyy, remember we were 2 weeks in Java, so this really was a revelation). Amazing small pool overlooking the ocean. The beach was small and simple, beautiful black sand, jump in and snorkel as far as you want. The staff was very helpful (a wife of one of the reception guys even did our 2 weeks worth of laundry - overnight!) with pretty decent kitchen. Yeah - i'd go back.

We visited in the off-season and were the only guests for 2 nights, the rooms were beautiful, large, air con, the pool beautiful, and the ocean nearby wonderful for a swim and some body-surfing. Staff were friendly and ready to serve immediately, mosquitoes were abundant but we had nets and spray provided. A little way from town but a lovely intimate stay and layout - definitely recommend it :)

I stayed here for 1 night during my business trip near this hotel, and since this hotel is the best among others (according to my colleague) so I decided to stay at this hotel.
The location is very far from the city, but it has own beach (not a beutiful beach actually), and small pretty swimming pool and I enjoyed sitting there during sunset.
The price is cheap, considering that this is not a bad hotel anyway.
The service is standard and the food (dinner) was ok, not to bad and not too good, just ok. The price of the food also reasonable,
But I dont like the bed, they are using valance/neeting/mosquito net as the accesories of the bed, to be frankly I cannot sleet at that night, little bit creepy for me.
