“Not what it made out to be.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed April 25, 2014

Anyone who says this is good snorkelling is kidding themselves.

Way too dirty and silty. Unless you have NEVER seen coral before dont bother.

Just go straight to the Japanese shipwreck. Thats the best of the area and very easy to do. Good warung there also.

“The most amazing experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 19, 2014

The stretch of Coast in Bali's eastern region is miles of unspoilt amazing coral reefs. Jemaluk Bay is a stony beach near Amed where the coral garden can be viewed a few metres from the shore. It is an amazing experience to view coral of such diversity and color and all it takes is rudimentary swimming and a snorkel(easily rented). There were many fish in unbelievable colors and the coral really looked like a garden of flowers!
There are small shacks which are clean and serve good food and the friendly families enhance the experience.
