“Magnificent”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 19, 2013

I was stunned by the beauty and the cleanliness of the place. Though it does not lie in a very good area, the monument has been superbly maintained.
Entry fees are a minimal Rs. 5 for Indians and Rs. 100 for foreigners. Cameras' extra.
Take the services of a guide as they give a full tour with details. I wouldn't have gone to the remote areas if it wasn't for them.
A huge garden area is in front of the monument to relax.
Great photo opps!

“Worth Seeing...Simply Marvelous!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 21, 2013

One of the must see places when you are in Bijapur, Ibrahim Rouza offers you a simply delightful picturesque view. Interestingly, it serves as an inspiration to the great Taj Mahal as per legends. It consists of the tomb of Ibrahim Adil Shah, father of Adil shah II, along with his family. Even though the walls of the monument have been damaged and worn off to some extent, it has been nicely maintained along with a beautiful garden. Don't forget to carry your camera along as it is worth clicking a few snaps.

“Breath takingly beautiful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2013 via mobile

It's a long am out of town with very few sign posts but this is a must visit for any tourist in Bijapur. Quite the most beautiful structures you are likely to see in India with large well maintained gardens. Watch the temperature though as the stone flooding gets very hot for bare feet.
