The food is good and I was served quickly by courteous staff. The restaurant was always full when I went there and so I ended up sharing tables with other lone travellers so it was a nice place to meet other people. The only downside is that in the afternoon it turns to a beer parlour, so if you want a snack, a cup of chai or a nice cool lassi in the afternoon then you're out of luck. Also, during this time the room was full of men only, so if you are a lone female traveller and don't want to be stared at for an hour then wait until the evening before you go.
There were not many vegetarian options on the menu, but the vegetarian meals I did have there were nice.
