Kep, a small gem of a town on the lower coast of Cambodia, is most famous for its quiet bungalows and crab market (rightly so). On our last night we decided it was imperative we sampled the local specialty and Holy Crab was the perfect choice. Although slightly more expensive (entirely relative, 2 of us ate and drank for less than $25) than the neighboring restaurants, it is well worth the price. Eating with a traveling buddy, we watched an incredible sunset at our table (the seating area overlooks the ocean) and dined on the two spectacular crab dishes we had finally decided on after much deliberation over the variety listed on the menu.* The plating was pleasant and the portions were more than enough, we both left stuffed (Americans, mind you).
Decor was clean and organized, trusty worthy kitchen in plain view.
Service was more than accommodating and the whole staff pitched in to help us find a lost scooter key at the end of our meal! Don't miss this restaurant!
