Hmm, I really don't want to write this review as I kind of want to keep it a secret. As an expat with family in Phnom Penh we frequently go to the beach, either in Kep or Sihanoukville. Normally in Kep we stay at another place, but it's getting more and more crowded and the pool area is jamming up. Then by chance Ifound this place as I traveled through with a friend. We had a total of four children with us and it was only us two fathers as our wifes were at other location. This is a very nice bungalow resort. Small but very charming. The bungalows are built on concrete so you won't have the sound of rats running waking you up in the middle of the night, or inside the bungalow. The bungalows are small, but clean and nice. Very adequate. The only bad thing was that the A/C is blowing right at the bed, I had to turn it off in the middle of the night. On the other hand, it's difficult to place it in another spot in such a small room.

The resort as such is located on sloping hills giving you a view over the ocean. The pool is small but enough both for children playing but also for adults to play with the children or have a morning exercise. The restaurant is small but also here very charming, clearly not intended for external guests, but more to serve the guests staying at the hotel. Breakfast is included in room price and there are a couple of different options, Asian or Western basically. We also had lunch there and it was tasty and not expensive.

I do hope they will do well here, they deserve to. When in Kep I recommend this beautiful place to anyone, families to couples, well not to the party crowd though. Overall very nice and great value.

Had a great time at Masada Resort. The cottages are comfortable and private, located on a lush landscape garden. The pool with vanishing edge is excellent for relaxing or swimming laps, and even has a bar area to relax with your drink. The staff are very friendly and the kitchen menu has a wide variety of Asian and Western cuisine at reasonable prices. Ocean views from the veranda are excellent. Great location for exploring the area, and they will be happy to arrange a moto rental for you.

thank you for a gorgeous stay.
wonderful staff and the pool is great.
i guess it was a little bit disappointing that we didn't have a verandah, or terrace attached to our own bungalow with a view (i incorrectly assumed we might, given the location and small number of bungalows) however I can't fault the stay - it was a wonderful couple of days.
i recommend hiring a scooter and going through the jungle and along the coast - so much fun exploring, and then coming home to a lovely resort like masada. thank you again!

Having toured through Cambodia and spent time in the busy chaos of Phnom Penh arriving in Masada was bliss.

There's no big welcome speeches or rules and guidelines. Simply your cottage is here, the pool is here and food is here!! No reception desk or hundreds of staff running around, it's just peaceful and laid back.

The accommodation on first inspection is fairly basic, but fully functional and comfortable. With just 6 cottages the place is never busy and it's easy to feel you've really got away from it all. There's no TV in the room, no noise other than the wildlife and the sound of peace! You can relax on the porch or by the lovely infinity pool and be as lazy as possible!

The few staff are amazing, speak brilliant English and do anything to make your stay great. One afternoon we fancied ice cream. For some reason there was a problem with it, next thing we knew a moped had sped into town to buy us ice cream! This is unbelievable service!

The food is really good, breakfast was served whenever you appeared and always included fresh fruit picked from the garden. What we also found amazing was that for such a small place, you could order food from the decent menu at any time and both quality and price good.

The resort is in walking distance from the restaurant at the sailing club where happy hour is 5-7 and you can enjoy Cocktails as you watch the most perfect sunsets you've ever seen.

All in all this was one of the nicest, most relaxing friendly places a have ever stayed and the whole experience was awesome.

I couldn't recommend this place enough!

Room Tip: The middle cottage had great views across the bay and great to see the sunset

kep is an inviting small town with a relaxed atmosphere amidst lush landscape. your stay at masada will be one of your most relaxing and tranquil travel times. the food is delicious, though a tad pricey for cambodian standards, but given the quality/quantity/location, it's worth it. the rooms are immaculate - well designed and clean with everything you need to rest comfortably including AC and great bed/pillows. the pool is divine. the resort is very small so you get great personalized attention. would highly recommend this place, even for a honeymoon spot (for the slightly more adventurous type)! make sure to eat some green pepper crabs at kimly restaurant in town!

My wife and I stayed at the Masada resort for two nights but left wishing we had time to stay longer. The bungalows are beautiful, the pool is lovely and the staff are so friendly. It's the kind of place that makes you wish you could throw your job in and move there.
