“Cheap!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 10, 2012 via mobile

After looking at 3 guesthouses, I'm glad I found this place. The rooms are like $30 dollars room you get elsewhere but its only $6! The room is super clean and huge too! Try to get a room facing the mountain - its beautiful. Although the place feels like a hotel than a guesthouse but for that price you can't really complain. The staffs are nice and they clean your room too if you want. Location is excellent, within walking distance to everything. It's quiet too at night which is a huge plus.

$6 a night gets you a spacious room, with a good bed. No musty smell, cable tv, large clean bathroom, hot shower, flushing toilet.

All in all, clean, comfortable, modern. Definitely a bargain and a much better deal than elswhere in Kampot.

Though no character and the staff weren't overly friendly (I was upstairs waiting for my bag for half an hour because they were having a little chat downstairs).

Clean towels, room clean and 2 bottles of water a day.

I wouldn't stay anywhere else if I were back there!

Room Tip: No lift so if you don't like stairs...

I was looking for a quiet few days away just to relax and was recommended Ny Ny and it was a good choice. The rooms are clean and big and the shower was great. For the price I dont think you can get much better. The only down side was the WiFi was very slow. Other than that - spot on. I would stay there again.

This is by far the best choice hotel you can choose when in Kampot. It's on a street with various other guesthouses, all of which are a fair bit older than this one and not as nice. NYNY is really new and as such is clean, functional and modern (for Cambodia standards). It's a few minutes pleasant walk from the main sights of Kampot which are centered around the river. Had a good laugh with the staff as well and even had a kick about with them on the forecourt of the hotel. There's a great little bar over the road as well (cant remember the name, but their staff stay at NYNY to have a nice break from their work). For $13 p/n its an absolute bargain.

I stayed here for many weeks and have to say I miss the shower... the rooms are modern and bright. The bathroom is clean and a good size with just the BEST hot showers I have had anywhere in Cambodia!

The staff where very obliging and helpful - simply a great, modern, clean place to stay close to some great restaurants and shops.

Have used it for family and friends who have all enjoyed their stay here!

I stayed there two nights. I like that it's very close to the bus station, so you don't need a tuk tuk (good luck explaining that to the drivers though). The rooms are clean and spacious, with fridge and TV, wifi (struggled a few times, but I found that in every single place I was staying in Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam, so you better get used to it). You have the choice of aircon and/or fan.
When I checked in the receptionist wasn't very friendly but she was later whenever I saw her. You need to tell them if you want room service, otherwise they leave the room alone. There is no locker/safe in the room for your valuables, but as far as I understood, you can leave it at reception (didn't use that service).
Overall a good guesthouse that I can recommend and would use again myself.

I would give it 4 stars if wi fi work as email hotel before to make sure they had wifi but is very slow or doesn´t work at all.

good size twin beds

if wi-fi not needed great cheap option

some times can be noisy as dogs bark and roster crow!

Room Tip: 3 levels and no elevator so if you have bags get lower floor all rooms pretty much the same.
