“Fantastic Service, Room & Food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 6, 2013

You can't beat this beautiful home. Our room was huge and beautifully presented.

The team is friendly and attentive. They give a very welcoming feel.

The food is delicious and the overall stay can't be faulted.

I recommend anyone in Kampot to book a room here and if you miss out at least try the BBQ!!

We stayed at Java Bleue initially for one night but came back because we enjoyed it so much.

We felt extremely welcomed on arrival and throughout our stay. The food at Java Bleue is also fantastic!

Our room was extremely comfortable and had a lovely feel to it. Excellent value for money all round.

Well done guys... Hope to see you again soon!

Stayed here two nights in September, 2013. Donna and Jean Claude have done an amazing job renovating the hotel and three rooms. I stayed in the French room (solo traveler) and it was fantastic. Since rains had set it, it was the perfect place to linger and catch up on work. While this is one of the more expensive places in town, it was worth the extra cost for me - you likely won't see a low season discount as the rooms often fill. Donna, the Aussie, is very helpful and offers good advice for local jaunts. Jean Claude, the Frenchman, is friendly and while I only tasted his delicious omelettes he has a reputation as a great cook. Jean Claude is a welcoming host and don't be put off by less than positive accounts, he is French after all and would prefer you speak his language but is a genuinely caring fella. I will return when I get the chance. Great hosts! And fantastic place to stay.

Room Tip: There are three main rooms in the hotel. I saw all three rooms and each are clean and more than eno...

What a gem! This adress is a MUST if you go to Kampot. Excellent French food cooked by an amazing chef, Jean Claude. Reasonably priced for the quality, good service and a lovely surrounding. We highly recommand it!

The hotel is only 5 minutes walking to the riverside. We stayed two nights this september. The room was spacious with a confortable bed, AC and two electronic "anti-mosquito" in the wall sockets. The breakfast was really good and they did it in the ktichen. We didn't eat in the resaturant. The only objection was that the room was a little dark and with few ilumination, but when you opened the windows the light came in.

La Java Bleue is a lovely little boutique guesthouse just one block back from the river front. The location is important as it means the rooms are less impacted from the incessant karaoke noise that screams across the river every night. We stayed in the Chinese Room which was terrific. We didn't dine but the menu looked good & b'fast was tasty. Manageress Donna was very helpful from check-in through to departure. Highly recommended!
