For not planning on staying the night, this hotel wasn't too bad. It was noisy on the floor we stayed on, and I would have preferred not to have a room next to the ice machine which probably made the noise worse. Other then that everything was good, price wasn't too bad for a last min stay.

Room Tip: Ask to be away from ice machine

Travelled to Greensboro for business and this hotel was accessible and in perfect location to and from airport. Was nice and clean but it needs a "face lift" as it is wear out in places.
The breakfast buffet was good to have but with very reduced choices for healthy eaters. Plus I may be spoiled to expect more at $13, usually a reduce selection breakfast is in room price.
I like to work in the evening when I travel and had to pay $12 for WiFi, so it makes the price per room more than you think. Usually I get pretty good rooms or stay at better hotels for that price.
If you look for convenient location this hotel is great. But know the hotel is not what you expect of Marriott.

Traveled to Greensboro NC for my sisters birthday and did not want to stay in town. Found this Marriott in High Point. I really have nothing harsh to say. The hotel, despite being near an airport, is very peaceful and quiet. The beds are absolutely superb. I have a bad back and not one waking morning did I feel pain. I guess it's time for a new mattress at home. One thing that was really great is that after a long drive from Baltimore and checking in at 2a.m., it was nice to discover that the front desk agent was from Baltimore. it made for a warm and personal check-in. The hotel was well designed, with all activity away from the room areas and there was plenty of parking. The Lobby and bar area was very inviting and quite cozy. The rooms are average, however, the bathrooms are very, very small and boxy. I ate at the restaurant my 2nd night in town and was greeted with a smile by several staffers. I ordered a Pesto burger and fries and WOW was it tasty. Great hospitality there. The only problem at the bar is that Marriott needs to get with the program with stocking popular drink selections when they are popular. My stay was very nice and the staff was also. Lastly, housekeepers were awesome. I have stayed at many hotel across the country and abroad and they were the most hospitable, ever!!!! They really took care of things quickly and professionally. I bugged them often and never gotten anything less than professional.

We had to leave our home due to water damage for five days. The airport Marriott provided an excellent home away from home. Many reviewers have spoken about the seclusion of this hotel. That is its strength not its weakness. The property has a relaxing, resort feel in a tranquil setting. The indoor outdoor pool is a lovely facility. The staff at the front desk were extremely helpful and outgoing. The room design and furniture were excellent with roomy bed tables and an oversized chair and ottoman. The New Garden area is just a few miles away and is filled with nice shopping and dining options. This property is an example of what the Marriott brand does right. They helped make a stressful experience more bearable.

Very friendly staff that cannot do enough for you. Impeccable property inside, the exterior could use some upgrading. Very nice and comfortable pool. Rooms are very clean. Thanks for all the times this hotel has made my family feel welcome.

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights while visiting our sister company in Trinity, NC. I arrived late and was pleasantly surprised to see a hopping restaurant filled with people. I grabbed a table and answered some email while waiting on my food to arrive. The restaurant was not typical of a hotel as there was a good selection of food and it was on my table within 15 minutes. Additionally, it was really good.

The rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly. I received a greeting everytime I walked in. I also ordered room service by leaving the card on my door for breakfast. Meal arrived on time, to order, and hot, very well done.

The hotel appears to be out of the way but quickly found that being at a number of crossing interstates and highways made it easy to get where I was going quickly.

Overall rating - Excellent!
