“Nice Stay Good Location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 9, 2012

I was in Greensboro for a week of training. Check-In was quick and my room was clean. My room was on the interstate side of the building so the room wasn't the quietest that I have ever had. The complimentary breakfast was good and parking was always easy to find. On my last night the lock on my door broke so I had to switch rooms. Other than that my experience at the Embassy Suites was very pleasant.

We were in Greensboro for a wedding at this Embassy Suites and realized upon arrival the Atlantic Coast Conference women's basketball tournament was going on and the Georgia Tech and NC State ladies were also at the hotel. The hotel staff did a wonderful job in setting up for the wedding. Service at the dinner was excellent. One of the staff told us they had a full house that night. Our room was clean, well stocked, and the bed was, as so many have said, comfy! The made to order breakfast was top drawer. Even with so many people lining up omlets, the grill crew handled the full court press.

Room Tip: Ask for a room away from the airport (east side is best), away from the elevators and vending areas.

3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 26, 2012

While on an overnight business trip to Greensboro, NC, I stayed at this Embassy Suites. I chose this hotel because I know the name and wanted to be comfortable and get a good night's rest. The hotel was clean and the stay was not bad. What I did not like was the nightly charge for internet. That was so not cool.

You might pay more for a stay at an Embassy Suite, but you know what you are getting- clean well maintained facility with large rooms and a particularly comfortable bed.

I stayed 2 nights at this hotel for a business trip. I think this is a great hotel to stay at if you are in the Greensboro area. I love the atrium style of this hotel....beautiful outdoor feeling. The suites were very spacious with 2 flat screen TVs, a microwave, refrigerator, and 3 sinks! The rooms are not luxurious but they are comfortable. The bathroom and decor is dated but having the extra space made the room great! We stayed in a corner room which I liked but it was close to the highway so if you are a light sleeper this may be an issue. The breakfast buffet was great. The lunch at the restaurant was also really good. The fitness center was just ok. The meeting rooms were nice. I travel quite a bit and I was pleased with my stay at this hotel. I would definitely recommend it to people I know!
