“Must stop at if you have the chance”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 24, 2014

Went in for lunch with family after visiting Science Center. This place is excellent. We had Reuben and Meatball Sub but the extra added delight is the Freshly baked Cheesecakes by the owners wife. Carmel Heath Bar is the best!!!

“Delicious Spot!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 18, 2014

We visited the newest Jam's Deli location at Martinsville Road for the second time on Monday night, and were just as impressed as the first time. The atmosphere and decor were both great, right down to the restrooms. The service was friendly and prompt, although the meal took a little longer than most deli-style restaurants (I never mind this when it means that my food is being cooked fresh and made to order.) I got the grilled veggie pita, which is just ridiculously amazing, and so much more filling and flavorful than you could imagine a veggie pita being. The curly fries are delicious, and the pasta salad is the same delicious recipe I remember from the original Jam's (which I grew up near, so we visited frequently.) The owner chatted with me for a while about the patio and music and wine nights they've been featuring on select Fridays. She was so pleasant and passionate; it's always a joy to support local business owners who are trying to liven up our community. We had the chocolate chip cheesecake for dessert; it was good, but not great. An added bonus was when we were told we had unwittingly walked in on $5 sandwich night! Mondays and Wednesdays all sandwiches (served with side) are $5. A great value and an extremely filling meal. We will be back ... a lot!!

“I loved their subs”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 29, 2014

Their subs are so good, you can build your own or just get a standard sub. We had about 5 people who wanted different types of subs. They made them up in no time at all. It was just wonderful.

“Great sandwiches & salads in very pleasant environment !”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 24, 2014

This is a new location for this eat-in deli that has had decades of history in Greensboro, NC and is located between Lawndale Dr. & Martinsville Rd. behind the Edward Jones Investment Bldg. facing the corner of Lawndale & Pisgah Church Rd. It is tucked away so that the covered outside dining is quiet, pleasant and on shady side of bldg.
The French Dip and Cheeseburger were delicious and very affordable & generous portions of sides included.

“Great sandwiches”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 18, 2014

Had lunch here on Saturday and it was not too crowded. Sandwiches are really good and so was the service. I ordered the chips, which to me indicates crunchy, but most of them were soft. We will go back again and I won't get the chips.
