“Good Value”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2013

I ate there for lunch today. I had a nice salad, bread and baked ziti. The portion size was very big for a lunch entree. I could not eat all that delicious food, so I got a box and took the rest for lunch tomorrow. The service was very good and the restaurant is in a convenient location. I will go back again.

“Quiet spot, great food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 14, 2013

The food quality was wonderful with a great cheese ravioli dish. You feel like you're uptown without the crowd or prices.

“hummmmm”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 11, 2013

I went here with a friend for lunch it was very nice, good and the glass of wine was almost too much.....then decided to return with family for dinner ouch not the same at all... the sauces were so watery, almost watered down. Too bad because the shrimp and scallops were good, I really think they did water down the sauce, why???? who knows. The glass of wine was not as large at dinner, so after that change I'd be afraid to return. Too bad I had thought we found a nice new place to eat, but I can cook as good at home, for a lot less. I would say go to lunch, its reasonable even if you don't get the great sauce. But if you are spending $$$ at dinner go elsewhere

“Local favorite surrounded by franchises”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 11, 2013

If you want to get something predictable, Villa Rosa is within easy walking distance of probably 25 franchises - from quiznos, steak and shake, wendy's, macdonald's to red lobster, applebees, tripps, fudrucker's, etc. If you want local, and you like Italian, Villa Rosa is worth a try. I had one of the specials, veal marsalla, and a glass of wine for under $30.00 with tip. Most of the entrees were between $10.00-$15.00. The food was hot and very good. The veal was tender, the mushrooms weren't and the pasta was cooked just right. The service was prompt and unobtrusive. The decor was faux Italian villa. Overall, a nice local find that I will visit again.
