“Lovely walk in suburban setting... Hidden gem!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 13, 2014 via mobile

The Bog garden and adjacent gardens are a lovely diversion. Well worth the trip and time. Beautiful specimens, well labeled on fun trails. And only a short walk from Friendly Centre!

“A Hidden Treasure”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 23, 2013

If you don't know where it is..... you'll have trouble finding it. Located off Hobbs Rd, also close to a major shopping center etc. As you walk through the bog, albeit on a boardwalk, you're taken back in time. It's so serene to sit and watch nature and think back to a simpler time. Great stress reliever.

“Serene”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 21, 2013

This is extremely small but oh-so quiet an area to walk around. Completely surrounded by foliage, the wooden walkways are covered with a natural canopy of overgrown trees making it a cool place to visit outside of the sun's reach. There are lots of birds & ducks hanging out in a shallow stream which meanders through this bog wetland area. There's also a lake where you can watch cranes & various other birds. Makes for a quiet little break. Walk across the street to the Tanger Gardens when you leave here.

“The Bog Garden”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2013

Very small with signs along the way to point out foilage/plants/fish in the ponds. Best done in spring summer. Though in a residental/business area, lovely place to stop and relax. Doesn't take more than an hour or so.

“Other parks in Greensboro are better”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2013

I think this park is highly overrated compared to other parks close by. The flowers are pretty to look at but it doesn't have easy parking and its dangerous getting out of there.
