“Best Burger in Town”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

If you're looking for a great burger, Big Burger Spot is the place you'll want to visit. By far the best burgers in town. A great selection of different burgers and fries.

“Best burger in North Carolina”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 19, 2013 via mobile

Tonight we tried the Pimento Cheeseburger, the Backyard Burger and the Philly Burger with a Big order of Aged Parmesan Garlic Fries. Half pound burgers that are flame broiled.

“Among best burgers and definitely best brisket in Greensboro”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 31, 2012 via mobile

What a find next to an Exxon station! Texas brisket is without question the best brisket in Greensboro or surrounding area. Burgers are terrific as well, as are the variety of fries. Service is fast and friendly. Space is small but on nice days you can sit outside. Add that this is obviously a local operation and you have a winner. Highly recommended!

“Brisket Lovers”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 9, 2012

The burgers at BS are great, and so are their Texas-stye brisket sandwiches. These huge, meaty sandwiches are the real thing, says a friend. He ought to know, he's from fort Worth, Texas. Here's hoping that Burger Spot will continue to reign supreme as one of the best burger AND brisket eateries in Greensboro. We've been back three times already.

“Fantastic burgers--try the fries, too!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 30, 2012

If you like thick, juicy burgers, you must eat here. Handpatted Angus beef patties are cooked to order and served on fresh, delicious buns. Veggie burger (house-made) and ground turkey options are also available. It's hard to choose from the tempting variety of toppings; we liked the house-made pimento and the classic. Do add an order of fries with an unusual topping such as aged parmesan garlic: portions are generous and the fries are perfectly cooked. Salads and other sandwiches are also available.
This small restaurant is located on Route 220/Battleground Avenue in front of WalMart in the same building as (but not connected to) an Exxon gas station; a few tables, some high round tables with stools, and a counter facing the road provide indoor seating. In nice weather, eat outdoors at large picnic tables with umbrellas in a fenced area next to the restaurant and admire the colorful dog and cat mural painted on the wall. You can also view the Eiffel Tower, Statue of Liberty, and Leaning Tower of Pisa. Skip the chain restaurants and eat here!
