“Great burgers , not great service”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 8, 2012

The burgers are great. Especially the Lu Lu Burger that is topped with pimento cheese. The service is really slow. The workers are very unorganized and seem to need someone there to give them direction. I find the food to be overpriced. They also allow dogs in their ourdoor seating area. As we were eating there was a dog urinating two tables away. This is not very appetizing or sanitary.

“Not Bad”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 5, 2012

This place does a good job and is an alternative to nasty Mcdonalds, Burger King, etcetera.

“Never disappoints”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 20, 2012

I usually get the BLT at Emma Key's, and it is always very good (just make sure you specify how you like your bacon).
The cheeseburgers are phenomenal -- juicy and full of flavor.
Sweet potato waffle fries are worth it just for the dipping sauce.
Great beer selection, especially for a diner. A lot of local brews.
We go here at least once a month, no fail, and always make sure to bring visiting friends and family members here as well. They always love it.
GREAT prices.
The owner is really kind and great to strike up a conversation with.

“One of Greensboro's Best Burgers”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 3, 2012

This is an interesting, funky little place, housed in what was Raynor's Barber Shop, back in the day when I was growing up on Walker Avenue. They have 6 - 8 rather closely packed tables inside and 4 or 5 patio setups, with better spacing. Not a lot of ambiance here, functional neighborohood grill layout.

The Cheeseburger here is excellent, big and juicy, with a ton of flavor - and they have a variety of different ones, with a variety of toppings - but hard to see how you can beat a straight cheeseburger with L,T, & M. The fries are really nice, as well - light and crispy.

The Chicago Dog is a very good version, and is a relatively new addition since it was not on the online menu. The wiener is all beef, the roll is a poppy seed one, the green pepper relish is very nice, not to sweet with this zip to it. Sport peppers were either missing in action or brought nothing to the dog. Tomato and pickle were present, as well. Well done dog.

The Carolina dog is served on a soft, rectangular, toasted bun, and the wiener is of a nice quality. The chili was either very limited in amount, or it is simply bland. This dog comes with a very wet, rather sweet slaw, and onions. The mustard was put on last assuring that you would have mustard on your face after each bite - this was not a chili dog from either a taste perspective, or a construction view that I cared for.

They have some other items, sandwiches (including a Fried Balogna), salads, etc. Serivce here is a little slower than fast food because they cook to order, and that is especially important with the burger - worth a little wait. The guys that work here are all friendly. Nice place.

They do not at present having any parking adjacent to the building; they do have some up the street a 1/2 block beside Suds & Duds - on the left headed toward town.
