“Very nice hotel, good format...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 24, 2013

In town for the High Point Furniture Mart I fond the Hyatt online at a cheaper price than the 7 other hotels nearby? It's SUCH a better place to stay than most places and I would go back in a second! Free breakfast, free Wi-Fi, quick on/off to the highway.....lots of places to eat nearby....not much NOT to like!

Room Tip: Remember if you arrive LATE in the evening there's a chance that you'll get the Handicapped...

This was our first stay at a Hyatt Place and it will not be our last. The staff could not have been more pleasant and helpful. The room was large and comfortable. There are several meeting rooms and a nice little full service bar. Breakfast could have had more choices, but, was good. The pool was under construction, but, did not affect the rest of the hotel. Easy to find location just off of I-40 at Wendover Ave.

I would put the Hyatt Place properties a notch above Hampton Inn, Fairfield and maybe even Hilton Garden Inn.

Room Tip: Stayed in a room on the freeway side and had no traffic noise.

This quite Hotel is a well kept secret in Greensboro. From the first minute iwhen i arrived fhe customer service was top notched. Plus the breakfast buffet was first class and very appealing to both your eye and your hunger. The rooms are tastefully decorated and present a very quite atmosphere when your trying to rest. Although the hotel is adjacent to a major street I encountered very little noise. As an added note I personally observed the hotel management having a staff meeting to ensure the hotel quality was being met daily. Kudos also to the late night front desk folks for going out of the way to bake fresh cookies for me.

This was our second time staying here; and have no regrets. The front desk staff was nice and friendly and willing to help. The breakfast was good and had a lot of choices. The room was big; loved the couch and the extra room, so you are not always sitting on the bed. The bed was comfortable and had lots of pillows. The only negative was the fan comes on when you turn on the bath light; but was not nearly as loud as a lot of ones have been lately.
It is just off Interstate 40 and has a lot of restaurants close by.

I was surprised when I went on a business's trip and stayed at Hyatt Place Greensboro NC, the service was excellent, the staff is awesome and the food phenomenal. My favorite part was the 1mile radius complementary shuttle service, I had some last minute items to get and paying for taxi was unreasonable, the shuttle driver took me to the store and waited until I was done with my shopping. I definitely recommend this hotel.

I stayed here with two teens while visiting colleges (good rate via Guilford College) and found it perfect for our needs. I've stayed at several Hyatt Place properties over the past few years and continue to marvel at how beautiful their properties are for the price. This one is a bit different than others in the lobby area, which includes primarily tables for eating and a small alcove with one TV. The food here is quite good, including a free hot breakfast with lots of choices, as well as a "grab and go" selection for other hours. There also is a small bar in the lobby - nice feature for economy hotel - which supplied several desserts and coffee during our 2-night stay. The reception staff is very friendly, as is the housekeeping staff. The hotel includes a small and quiet gym with 3-4 cardio machines and yoga apparatus. (While TVs are built into the machines, few were operational.) The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, and includes work area, wetbar and mini-fridge. The location is excellent, with plenty of restaurants within walking distance and easy access to I-40. I would definitely recommend this to others.

Room Tip: Room on 2nd floor is quiet, and allows easy access to lobby via stairs.

We stayed at this hotel for my son's gymnastics meet this past weekend. Check-in was breeze and the staff was very helpful. Our room was very clean when we arrived and it was very nice. The set up was different, but very nice. We were very comfortable and it was very quiet while we stayed. There were tons of restaurants and we could walk to the shopping center. We had a nice comfortable stay and would stay again.
