With the local scheduled flights now twice daily to Meru Park this venue is a great weekend get away for locals and also a great destination for international tourists. Its not the Masaai Mara scene where vehicle climb all over each other to see game, here there are no vehicles and the park and roads are well maintained - with over 15 all year round streams flowing. The camp is small and exclusive, 8 tents all strategically located along the length of a small river that attracts its own ecosystem of wild life which you can watch lounging by the pool. i think its a destination that must be visited. plenty of game - we saw everything ! Including a healthy pride of 15 lion - one of which was collared meaning conservationists like the area and have a keen eye on it. Game birds are everywhere the franklin - sand grouse, yellow neck spur fowl and PNG's. Food faultless! tents are big and the double beds even bigger. Kashogi would be proud. Game - first class - we ven had a leopard in the camp looking for JP's youngest. You must visit the place !
