“Beautiful view!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 29, 2013

We have stayed here numerous times during "leaf season" in Gatlinburg. The condos are centrally located to Cade's Cove, Pigeon Forge and Asheville. We love driving on the Foothills By-pass and enjoy visiting the Artists Loop and the huge Gatlinburg Craft Show.
The condos are comfortable, although the water pressure is not great. Love the fireplace and balcony views.

Room Tip: The higher up you are, the better the view.

We just returned from our 7th stay. Our unit this time was 303, a 3 BR, 3BA condo. The sofa and recliners need replacing, as they are worn out and the mattress in the master bedroom could use changing out too. I was irritated that the owners didn't leave coffee filters. We had to go down into Gatlinburg and get some! There were spider webs hanging in various places and the bathrooms could've used a good cleaning (under the rims) and we found a man's sock (not ours in the bedroom) Now, for the good stuff! The unit is roomy and plenty big enough for the six of us! The view is excellent and the best we've found in the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area.

Room Tip: Study the pictures on the website closely and ask a lot of questions.

We just returned from our first mountain visit. Can't say enough about this place. Our view from 402 was the prettiest view in the whole area. The condo was quiet, none of the crazy going on in town. Much less expensive than the hotels. Well stocked and great staff. Planning on going back.

Room Tip: If you need a one bedroom, go for 401-410. Unobstructed views beyon belief!

We stayed in unit# 401. You couldn't ask for a more magnificent view than the one we had from the balcony of this condo! The unit was very tastefully decorated and had many upgrades. It was clean and stocked. It was 1 BR., 1 BA. I do have to say I wish the bathroom was larger, no tub but did have a large tiled shower. No washer/dryer in the unit but there was a laundry on the property. We were only there 3 nights so it wasn't a priority for us. You can see photos of the units online and this one lived up to the posted photos. It was easy to get to from the Gatlinburg By-Pass. The gentleman in the office was very friendly and helpful. Told us about a bear that loves to come and eat the fall decorations he does outside in front of the registration area and the wild grapes that grow along the sides of the road! But as I said before "What a view!" We will stay here again!

Spent our 25th wedding anniversary in condo 410. Loved the great view and the condo was very nicely decorated however, the floor was about as dusty as you can get. The people that cleaned it basically used some cheap dust mop which basically smeared the dirt/dust around which was a shame because otherwise, it was a great place and we loved the location, very easy to get to except the bypass closed at night while we were there which meant you had to take a very winding road up to the condo, but which also put you out in the middle of Gatlinburg, which was nice.

We have stayed at the Highlands many times over the years and this is the first time that it was not exceptional. We never did have WiFi access even after making it known in the office. We stayed in 405, the oven is very old attempting to use it was an experience in itself.

We were in the Smokey's at the time the government was shut down so the National Park was closed. We were able to hike a couple of trails but it did put a damper on our trip.
The good news was this Condo was great with a beautiful view! We stayed in Unit 413 which was a one bedroom on the 1st floor. The view was Wonderful! The unit was updated and very clean. It was a bit small but was just fine for my husband and I. We enjoyed the pool and the hot tubs both indoors and outdoors. We will stay here again and would recommend it to anyone.

Room Tip: The 1 bedroom was a little small but fine for a couple.
