“A Good Visit”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 12, 2013

If you like staying in a hotel that is clean, great location, and felt safe, stay here.

My family and I picked this hotel because of it's location close to the aquarium and Hard Rock Cafe.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room had a back door that went out to a balcony that overlooked the river. At night we were able to listen to the water running down the river which was pleasing to us. The beds were comfortable and all slept well. I wish it wasn't raining during our stay because our kids would have really liked to have used the hotels very nice playground.

If you stay here just keep in mind that it wasn't build yesterday.... you can tell it's an older hotel. For example we were able to see daylight under our doors. But by putting down a towel on the floor fixed that problem while sleeping.

Overall, not a fancy place to stay, but not a bad place to stay.

We stayed in a suite in the ogle building. Had a fireplace, king bed, living room, kitchen, jacuzzi, and a large bathroom. Great location and nice staff. Our room overlooked the river and seemed to be updated.

My family and I spent 3 nights here and had a wonderful time. The location is perfect. Close to everything in town. The hotel seems to be nearing the end of a renovation. The room was clean and updated. We had a balcony on the stream which nice. The only thing I didn't like was the balconies are shared. The hotels complimentary breakfast was one of the best I've ever had . They also had a wonderful playground. I will certainly stay here again.

The beds were comfortable and we had a warm fireplace, that's about it.

We stayed in the 2 queen suite with fireplace and jacuzzi. Couldn't use the jacuzzi because it was brown water. No soap in the room.

$129 for the night was too much, I could have stayed somewhere nicer for a lot less. Now I know next time research better.

We took the kids and grandkids there this past summer. It was perfect. The rooms were nice and clean. The location was perfect. We loved the creek and the ducks. The kids played on the playground while the adults played board games under the gazebo at night. The breakfast was very convenient, good and helped with our budget. We will definately be going back.

Room Tip: We stayed in the "ducks landing" area. The grandkids loved walking out the back door and f...

We stayed there a couple of nights last week. They have everything you could want from nice rooms to suites to honeymoon cottages, they furnish a hot continental breakfast and everything is very well manicured and clean. Their prices were very reasonable ( we were also @ off season rates). You are within walking distance to anything in Gatlinburg. We would definitely stay there again

Jeff and I stayed here for 3 nights and 4 days. The Jacuzzi was a great way to start our day with the beautiful fireplace and TV in full view. Then down stairs for a very good breakfast. The staff was very attentive. After touring all the beautiful things there are to do in Gatlinburg,(not to mention the amazing Christmas Lights that were on display!), we set off for the amazing food selections that they had to offer. Awesome food. The attractions are amazing as well. I did not want to leave, we had the time of our lives!!! LOVED IT!!! Will be going back soon!! The hotel is centered between the Ripleys' Aqaurium and the Hard Rock hotel. You are basically in the heart of Gatlinburg.

Room Tip: Get the suits with fireplace and Jacuzzi as the have a living room, bar with stools and kitchen
