“6 Star Rating”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 22, 2013

Folks, I have stayed at a lot of places over my years, But Tree Top Resort without a shadow of doubt stands tall above them all. All the staff were friendly, kind, & courteous. Without going into details, Tree Top staff went above and beyond with my accommodations and also my expectations. I would be Honored to stay here again. Other than my first night misfortune, which had nothing to do with Tree Top, my stay was absolutely perfect. I WILL BE BACK.

Just returned from a week stay at this location. Tree Tops resort might be older but it was very well maintained and lots of friendly staff on hand to keep the place beautiful. Its little bit of a rustic feel. Beautiful surroundings. We were in building 1 (no elevator in that one). We had a 2 bedroom very room unit will full kitchen equipped with anything you might need. Very nice and super clean! They have 1 indoor and 3 outdoor pools and Jacuzzis. There was Wi-Fi avail but at least in our building it was a bit slow and not totally reliable but we were on vacation not there for work so it was sufficient enough to simply check our emails etc. The location is very convenient a s well and its on the Pigeon Forge side of town making travel a little easier without having to go through the main strip of town that was much busier. Its only about a 10 minute drive to Pigeon Forge and all the great things to do there. About 5 minutes from the Ripley's attractions and aquarium.

Spent a week here on vacation. The rooms were excellent, a little smaller than my property in Las Vegas, but extremely nice. The staff was great! Had a super simple check in and then took advantage of a couple of the activities that they had scheduled during the week. The grounds were in immaculate condition and the location is absolutely beautiful. The location was great too, just far enough off the main drag to be quiet, but not far enough to make it difficult to see and do everything the area had to offer.

Room Tip: Make sure you book well in advance.

Our family of 5 stayed here in April and it was great. The family activities they do during the week were great (Bird Show, Arrowhead Necklace craft). The indoor pool is nice and the grounds were well kept. the staff were very nice and made sure that we had everything we needed. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

You can be "close to everything" and "out of the way" all in one place. We are a time share family and recently exchanged into RCI for Spring Break. We had a very nice and relaxing time here. She is an older property of 30 years, but they are currently renovating the property. We were across the street in building 4, but we had our own pool, hot tube, and laundry facilities. All parking is in the ground floor garage (mostly covered). They have many outdoor grills on the grounds. The balconies for our building all faced the interior overlooking the pool/hot tub facility. Across the street, many of the rooms' balconies overlook the creek that lines Roaring Fork Road. Even from our balcony, you could always hear the wonderfully relaxing sound of the rushing water. We stayed in a 1 bedroom. It's a bit tight for a family of four with 2 teenagers, mostly in the bathroom, but overall, not a big deal. We always stay where we can prepare most of our meals, and while small, the kitchen had everything we needed. The family room had a pullout couch, flat screen tv, gas fireplace, free wifi and access to the balcony. The odd thing about the room configuration, was that the bedroom was next to the front door with a window on the outside walkway. This could've been a noise problem, if the place had been packed. We were only one of two families on the entire floor! Did not care for the memory foam topper on the bed. Had a hard time adjusting to sleeping on it. Very comfortable to lounge on, but just had issues sleeping. People have mentioned on other reviews, that there was no hard sell timeshare pitch. Not hard sell, but there was a pitch.....look out for the call from the front desk asking if they can come by with a gift bag for you! The "gift bag" is the foot-in-the-door! He was a very nice gentleman who had a "questionnaire" about our stay and our "vacation habits". He never pressured, but did provide us information about "swapping" our current timeshare for theirs. Again, he was very informative and offered themselves as a cost-saving alternative (not unwelcomed information in the least). All in all a wonderful stay in a relaxing place. Will definitely exchange to this resort again (and maybe even own someday)

Room Tip: I wouldn't hesitate requesting building 4, which is across the street from the main property. I...

So peaceful! Creek right outside babbles along. Off the main drag. Full kitchen. Comfy bed and very helpful, kind staff. Wood burning fireplace. Indoor pool. What more would you want? Oh and no hard sell timeshare pitch -- thank God!

Room Tip: Ask for a cabin if you want even more seclusion.
