“Overpriced for average food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 2, 2009

Our waitress was very nice and did a great job. Overall the food was good - not great - except for the has browns which were soggy and not done, The cost of the food was way out of line for the value received. The omelettes are paper thin with one slice of cheese and are over $7.00. Only two of the four of us ordered a full breakfast with one ordering hash browns and water and the other coffee. Our bill was almost $40. Went because of positive reviews. Will not return. One highlight if you do go, the french toast came with a yummy apple cinnamon sauce that was really good. Did not like that they did not take credit cards or that we did not know you couldn't park on the street after 9 a.m. We got there about 8 a.m. but an announcement was made to move cars and we had to dash to get our vehicle out of the street so the nice police lady who was parked behind us would not give us a ticket. She just waved at us and smiled.

Absolutely the best pancakes around! Any kind of fruit topped Pancakes, Raspberry filled crepes with whipped cream, & Blintz's to Omelets & Waffles & Sandwich's for lunch, you wont walk away hungry!!

“Good food...poor service.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 2, 2009

My husband and I tried the Pancake Pantry for the first time this summer. The food was good, but not exceptional as we had heard and the service was poor. Our server was an elderly lady and she acted as if she would rather be any where other than there. Not to mention that they do not accept credit cards, so take plenty of cash.

“Best Breakfast in Gatlinburg”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 31, 2009

One of the few great places to eat in Gatlinburg. My favorite is the Sweet Potato Pancakes...they are the best!! Can't wait to go back this Fall and enjoy them! Excellent service, friendly staff, reasonable prices, menu variety and great food!
