“Excellent Lunch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 15, 2013 via mobile

Excellent salmon sandwich and lobster bisque . Pleasant atmosphere and good service.
We stopped for lunch and had a great meal. It is a little off the beaten trail but worth the ten mile trip from Gatlinburg.
They close in mid December until spring. So good idea to call first.

“Great little place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 11, 2013

We were referred to eat here from one of the locals in gatlinburg, and we are glad we gave it a try. Fun, country atmosphere hidden in the trees. My wife and I really enjoyed the lobster pie, tea of course, and we shared a desert. Everything was very enjoyable, but definitely on the pricey side. I would say for the most part it was worth it. Much much better than going to a chain everyday for lunch.

“Quaint!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 13, 2013

This tea room is a quaint place to go for an enjoyable afternoon lunch and tea. It has a festive atmosphere of flowers all around and it makes picture taking a must! It has a tasty lunch menu and the desserts were delicious. It is diffrent from the Gatlinburg crowds and although off the beaten path a little, it is worth the trip for a change of scenery.

“Just Okay ... better places abound.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 8, 2013

While they advertise that they have an Austrian influence, the menu and food have nothing to do with food with an Austrian or Germanic influence. (Yes - I lived in Austria for many years.). Place is small and crowded with tables elbow-to-elbow and menu items are generally over-priced for the area and there is obviously no master chef in the kitchen. This is merely another mom & pop eatery in a touristy area based on an imaginary theme. Tried them twice in two different weeks to be fair, but would not generally recommend. Would suggest that the high ratings stem primarily from elderly ladies looking for a quaint tiny place to have tea.
