My husband and I were so excited to get a date night on vacation, and we used a restaurant.com certificate to dine at Greenbrier. Well, at least it was bad enough that we had something to laugh about later that night!
We went to the restrooms as we came in, and I actually remarked that if their restrooms were any indication of the quality of their food then we should go ahead and leave now. All too true, unfortunately. As they sat us, romantically, at a large window, overlooking the top of a highway and back of a grocery store, I asked the hostess for a gluten-free menu. Based on her responses, she obviously had no idea what was going on in the whole matter.
To sum things up, my husband said the bread was good, our server sniffles over our meal every time she stopped by, the escargot was burned and overly garlicky, the salad was overdressed, and the prime rib took forever, was almost half fat, and was cooked SO poorly...the inside rare and the outside well done.
Neat building, but it's not worth your time or money. If you're trying to decide on a restaurant.com certificate, get the one from Ober Gatlinburg, we had a MUCH better experience there! Friendly wait staff, really good food...just make sure you have your certificate printed.
