“Our best eating out experience in Gatlinburg this trip”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 7, 2014

Hot dog joints are not one of our usual stops, but we like to think of ourselves as open minded and adventurous. So after reading the reviews of this place we decided a trip was warranted. The possibilities were plentiful. I had the hamburger hot dog. It was a massive combination of hamburger and hot dog sandwiched together. Really tasty, I shared it with my daughter and had part of her chili cheese dog. We were all thrilled with our sandwiches. Add to that they make hand made shakes and we had a very fulfilling and filling meal. This place was only rated down by me due to its atmosphere. But do yourself a favor and take a drive a little off the beaten path and have a meal at this place.

“Filling and delish!”

Good prices and unusual combinations of hot dogs and burgers. Milkshakes were very thick! Friendly owner.

“Quiet and out-of-the-way :-)”

We went after a hike, wanting to avoid the crowds. Loved the dawgs! One of the best I have ever had. So many choices and the fresh buns were amazing!

“Local, unique, made-just-for-you food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2014

This was definitely our favorite place to eat in all of Gatlinburg on our Memorial Day trip. The owner was running the entire restaurant by himself when we visited and was able to single-handedly wait on us and a couple other groups during our visit. My husband got the moonshine dog (how could you pass that up in the Smokies??) and I was SUPER hungry after a long day of hiking and opted for the chili cheese fries dog. We both absolutely loved them and only wish we could have fit more! Clearly, with an extra side ordered, we were completely stuffed. FOR THOSE WITH FAMILIES, DO NOT PASS THIS PLACE UP! It's prices are so, so reasonable and everyone will be SUPER happy to make their own personal dog creations (this isnt a mustard and ketchup kind of place...but I'm sure they have that too). How fun! Homemade sweet tea was exceptional and shakes looked delicious, but we honestly couldnt fit another thing! We absolutely LOVED the owner and really hope he's there on our next visit. Thanks for creating such a cool establishment! :)

“great”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 29, 2014

It's kinda hard to find but well worth it! Not sure how to even explain how good it was, but in the words of the owner "they try to just make them pop". There buns are made fresh everyday from the bakeryn
