“Our first visit to Gatlinburg”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 1, 2013

The inn keepers at Tudor Inn Gatlinburg made our first visit to the city a memorable one. The inn was clean and comfortable and was within walking and/or driving distance to all major attractions. The morning breakfast was delightful - lovely presentation and excellent food. Not your ordinary fare - one morning a Scottish egg dish that was delicious! The owners were very friendly and helpful in making the most of our two night stay. We wiould definitely come back!

Room Tip: The King room was great!

The Tudor Inn provided us the peace and quiet we wanted. It was close to Smoky Mt. NP, our reason for the trip but also close to shops and restaurants, enabling us to walk to those locations. The breakfasts were very tasty, the service was excellent, and the owners were kind and helpful.

AWESOME B&B! Over and beyond our expectation! We stayed 3nights at the Tudor and what a TREAT it was, from our warm welcoming to a super clean room and AWESOME breakfast! Every morning breakfast was GREAT! The owners, staff members are AWESOME! They service u with such joy and it shows they are enjoying what they are doing! The location is great, u can walk to downtown and not have to worry about finding parking or being stuck in traffic.
TUDOR is the place to be, I WILL BE BACK!!!!

Room Tip: Stayed in the Princess Room, super comfy bed, wicker furniture.

We enjoyed our 17th wedding anniversary at the Tudor Inn and were completely satisfied! Everything the other reviews say is true to the smallest degree. The aesthetics take you back in time. Our room was clean and comfortable, furnished with everything we needed. The owners were a delight to talk with and they prepare a superb breakfast! Great care is taken to see to every detail of your stay from the minute they open the front door for you until you say good bye. Susan researches new and unique recipes so you can expect something different from your usual eggs and bacon for breakfast. We had the pleasure of enjoying Scotch eggs, delicious! She and Glen are extremely knowledgeable of the surrounding region and offer excellent advise on where to go and what to see. Gatlinburg can be a little overwhelming with food and entertainment choices, many of which can be quite cheesy. Thanks to them we did not get caught in a tourist trap. I would definitely recommend this facility for anyone considering a stay in Gatlinburg or the surrounding area. Whether for one night or for an extended stay, you will be happy here.

Five stars aren't enough. The welcome, the warmth and the friendship made this a perfect stay for us in Gatlinburg. We give the Tudor Inn the highest possible rating. Our room was fresh, clean and comfortable. The lounge area is a pleasure to enjoy and the conservatory/breakfast room is delightful. The instant friendship of other guests shows just how at home everybody feels. Many thanks to Sue, Chuck Lou Ann and Glenn, whose London cockney accent, though it may drift occasionally towards Sydney, Australia is a great deal better than Dick van Dyck's. Step in time mate, glad to have met you all.

We stayed one night which was not enough time to see and enjoy Gatlingburg. That being said, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Tudor Inn. The location was perfect. We parked our car and walked downtown. We attended a funny vaudville show at Annie's theater. The owners got our tickets and made many helpful suggestions. We would certainly stay at the Tudor Inn again. Also breakfast was delicious and beverages and snacks plentiful.

We spent three nights at the Inn and wished we could have stayed more!
Our hosts were very gracious and knowledgeable about the area and always
steered us to interesting places.Though the park was closed the trees in the
higher elevations were breathtaking and we met many interesting people along
the way.We are big tea drinkers and there was always hot English tea available
and a homemade muffin or scone which were perfect with the tea.
The sun room where we ate our breakfast had 'wrap around windows and we
could see the birds and squirrels feeding from a very ingenious feeder Glen
had made. The breakfasts were delicious and very nicely presented.
We hope to return next year.

Room Tip: We had a corner suite which was on the ground floor.Convenient for those who have difficulty climbi...
