“Great hotel with great customer service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 28, 2011

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights for a cheer competition my daughter was in. It was very clean- the room was a little humid even though it was February- but it was great. We didn't use the indoor pool, but we did walk by it- it looked very clean.

My husband and I came here on a honeymoon and were actually very impressed. We had a nice cozy room with a jacuzzi and fireplace. The room, like the rest of the place, was very clean. Nicely decorated. The bed was even comfortable!!! The staff was friendly and the pool/hottub room was nice as well. The hotel is within walking distance of lots of little shops, places to eat , and things to do. It's not on a busy street so it's easy to get in and out of. Overall my husband and I both were very pleased and are planning to makes reservations for this summer.

I had booked this hotel for one reason and one reason only, the indoor pool and hot tub. We were traveling with 2 young kids who love to swim. When we arrived the check in clerk was super nice and courteous. The indoor pool area looked nice but looks were decieving, the pool was cold (68 degrees), the hot tub was a mere 88 degrees and the lazy river was 72 degrees. We complained to the owner and he stated that the state had made him put some new water heaters in and that they kept tripping the breakers and that someone was coming the next day to look at them. The temps did gradually get warmer, by the day we left, the pool was tolerable (88 degrees) and the hot tub was up to 101 degrees. When we got in our room, it was ice cold and the heat took forever to get warm but did eventually warm the room up. We pulled the bed covers back on one of the beds and there was a small blood stain on the sheets so we asked for more sheets and got them but had to put them on ourselves. The cleaning staff for some reason would only leave 3 wash rags with the 4 towels in our room each day, there were 4 of us in the room. We would have to go up each night and get another rag from the front desk. Breakfast was good, about the same as any other choice hotel. The location was great, it was right in the heart of Gatlinburg, with in walking distance to everything. The hotel does have covered parking also. The beds were AWEFUL, they were worn slap out....at least in our room, everytime you laid in the bed, you rolled to the middle like the person beside of you, didnt sleep worth a crap, hotel needs new matresses for sure. All in all the hotel was clean and rooms were made up each day, a little pricey for a cold indoor pool though. The view from out window was the vinyl side of another building 5 foot away from the window, sucky view

The pool area was gross. There was green stuff growing by the (Extremely small) hot tub. The pools were very small compared to the pictures on their web site. The lady behind the desk was extremely rude and even rolled her eyes at me. You had to go outside to get to the indoor pool. The smell and feel of the hotel was unpleasant.
Will never stay there again.

Went up to meet old college friends for a weekend reunion. Had a great group rate on a block of rooms. Greatly enjoyed the indoor pool! Breakfast was great too. When it snowed unexpectedly, the Sleep Inn sales manager came to the rescue with a great deal on a ski package up at Ober Gatlinburg. Very friendly staff and nice rooms. Spent the evenings walking down to the strip and seeing the sights and sounds of Gatlinburg in December.

We stayed here over Thanksgiving, and had a very pleasant stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and the price was unbeatable. The location is not in the middle of the action, but it's close enough. What really made it stand out, though, was the service. It has been a long time since I've seen a staff where everyone worked so hard to serve guests. They all were consistently helpful, pleasant, and happy to go the extra mike. Definitely a great place to stay.

I needed some time away by myself, but didn't want to spend a fortune at the same time. This place was perfect for me. The staff was friendly, the lazy river relaxing, and the breafast enjoyable. Every night I walked down to the main drag and took in the sights and sounds, then retreated to a quieter side of town.
