Whether you are looking for a getaway where you see no one or a home base while taking in all of the attractions, Stonecreek Cabins can meet your needs. It is located off the beaten path but close to everything. The accommodations are clean, beautiful and there is great attention to detail. You feel welcome and at home from the moment you arrive being greeted by sparkling wine and quiet music for you, along with treats for your animal companions if you are traveling with them. We were definitely not ready to leave and will be coming back as soon as we can.

we spent 3 extremely pleasant nights at the creekside cabin, and were thrilled. it was the perfect end to a few days of backpacking in the smokies. the cabin is lovely, cozy, and very private. we spent the days enjoying the comforts of the cabin and the surrounding woods and wildlife, touring the nearby arts and crafts loop, or lounging in the hot tub. we were celebrating both our birthdays on this trip, and were surprised to find the cabin set up for a party with birthday decor, a fantastic cake, chilled champagne, chocolate and snacks. lise and sue also made sure the fridge and cupboards were stocked so that we didn't have to worry about venturing out for food on the first night. they were very helpful throughout our stay with restaurant recommendations and directions to various spots nearby and in town. we went out for a fantastic upscale dinner one night and stayed "home" and grilled another. we are looking forward to going back soon!

Bear Trail's Cabin is one of those places that you don't know whether to keep quiet about so it does not get spoiled and so that you have a chance of booking it again in the future - or share the wealth about because it's the decent thing to do. I decided to share the wealth.

I took my daughter for a week of hiking and touring in Tennessee for spring break to mark her graduation from high school. It was a quick trip but we allocated three nights to stay in the cabin which is just outside of downtown Gatlinburg. We were very dubious about the whole adventure after driving through Pigeon Forge - and counting the Go Karts, Pancake Parlours, mini-golf courses, souvenir and sex shops. WOW! So when we left Pigeon Forge behind and drove into the state forest and headed towards Gatlinburg we were starting to feel much better. When we found our cabin and let ourselves in - everything else just disappeared. We were so delighted with the place - it was just perfect. Clean, beautifully equipped, private, and stocked with wonderful thoughtful treats.

We did a fabulous hike along the Appalachian trail one day- and another long day hike in the lowlands another day. Unfortunately we did not even get into Gatlinburg to explore because we were so focussed on trying to see what we could of the Great Smoky Natl Park in our limited stay. We could have spent a week easily.

Love this cabin. The owners do a beautiful job. I cannot wait to come back again. Practically cried when we left.

This is a true haven for the weary. We entered the cabin to find champagne chilling and music on. Everything was beautifully presented, including snacks for our dog which we were very grateful to be able to bring along with us. Lise and Sue were so helpful with suggestions and giving us the run of their beautiful property. We will be returning in October!

We stayed for a week in the Smokies and had a fantasitc, relaxing time hiking in the area. From the second we arrived, everything at the Bears Trail cabin was beyond perfect. There was music playing, fresh flowers, champagne and a personalised cake waiting for us when we arrived (Lise had noted we were celebrating our wedding annivesary so left us a beautiful cake to celebrate).
The cabin is finished to such a high standard that you are constantly looking around and noticing more small details (such as the ginger bread people behind the glass etc). The photos do not do the cabin justice as it has to be seen to be belived. The bed is great as it is raised and in a little 'house' so it's very snug and romantic. You haveeverything you need, plus a great hot tub on the porch looking out tothe mountains and Gatlinburg.
The location is great too, you can walk into Gatlinburg's main street to the restaurants etc and drive a short distancet to the park. We walked everyday and didn't have to travel far for fantastic walks. While we were there it snowed so Lise called to tell us about spikes that could be attached to our shoes to stop us slipping. She then called round the local stockists to check who had them, now that's service!
We have nothing negative to say about this place, only wish we could of stayed longer than a week. We're already planning on going back to the Smokies and have no reservations to stay at the Bears Trail again.

We have been to the Treehouse many times and every time, no matter what the occasion or what time of year we visit, the cabin is a wonderful, magical place. The cabin is so private, yet just minutes from Gatlinburg. Our December trip was for my birthday. A wonderful cake and balloons along with all of the usual wonderful treats and special touches were waiting for us. Everything was wonderful. Unlike most places, the owners enjoy going the extra mile to make sure all of your visits are even better than you could have even imagined. We would never stay anywhere else when visiting the Gatlinburg area.

The owners of this cabin go above and beyond to make your stay extra special. When we opened the door the first time, I was literally brought to tears! We have stayed in Gatlinburg, at different cabins several times over our eleven years together, but nothing compares to this one. Lise, one of the owners, also gave us some wonderful suggestions on the local restaurants & places to visit. All in all, this was our most enjoyable Gatlinburg vacation ever. Thanks again Lise! We plan on returning on our anniversary next year!
