It's nice to stay in a clean smoke free hotel! No smoking anywhere here. The rooms are clean and the firmness adjustments for the beds are great! Breakfast was amazing! Very happy with my stay here! Your access to the Main Street is only a block away. This hotel is located on the south end of Gatlinburg but still close to the attractions and walking distance to sky lift.

The Hilton Garden Inn is our new favorite place to stay in Gatlinburg. The hotel is in a great location, and has plenty of parking. It is within easy walking disatnce of the strip, and several good restaurants, including Texas Roadhouse. We have stayed here twice, and found the staff to be very pleasant and accommodating. During our last stay we were upgraded without asking, as we Hilton Honors members. The young lady at the front desk asked us if there was any way she could be of assistance, even after we checked out.The hot breakfast is wonderful, and includes a large variety of items, including cooked to order options.

The only negative about this hotel is that the rooms are not very soundproof. We were awakened in the morning by the guests next door, who seemed to be speaking in normal voices. The fan in the room is a wonderful sound buffer, but does not run continuously.

Overall, a beautiful property and a great place to stay in a lovely setting. The positives far outweigh any negatives.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the front side of the building, for a much better view.

When I booked the room in June, I requested a suite with fireplace and Jacuzzi. When I received the second email confirmation, it stated suite with Jacuzzi. I called to verify, and was told the suite I wanted (and was told six months before I would get) was unavailable. I was told to continue calling back every hour or two until check-in to see if anyone cancelled. I did, and was able to get a king room with fireplace, Jacuzzi, and balcony. I traded the roominess of the suite for the fireplace. The room was lovely. Everything seemed new and clean. The adjustable bed did not adjust, but after awhile I got used to the hard mattress and it was pretty comfortable. The fireplace was very easy to use. The Jacuzzi was on a timer, and nowhere did it tell you how to operate it, but we managed to figure it out fairly easily. The lobby was lovely and everyone was friendly. The only complaint is being promised one thing and the hotel not being able to provide.

We have stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Gatlinburg Downtown a couple of times now. We have stayed in many hotels in Gatlinburg, and this is our favorite. This is a relatively new hotel. The decor is more modern than the other hotels in the area. The room was great. We stayed in a room with a king bed, fire place, and balcony. It was large and very clean. I only wish I had remembered to take more pictures if the room. We enjoyed the hot tub beside the fire pit tremendously. The indoor pool was a nice refreshing escape also. It is not a huge pool, but it was great for us considering we were the only ones using it each time we used it. I would imagine in a busier time of the season, it may get a bit crowded. This hotel would be fine for families, but it is a bit more suited for couples in my opinion. The staff were always friendly, and the warm cookies were a plus. They have nice flat screen TVs in the lounge area to keep up with your favorite team while you enjoy a cocktail if you would like to. The hotel is centrally located within walking distance to all of downtown Gatlinburg. I will definitely be staying here again.

The lobby of the hotel was beautiful, the front desk clerk was very helpful, but the room wasn't great. Let's start with the good:

- While driving to TN I received a call from the front desk because I had a special request stating my child had allergies and for linens to be completely replaced. I was so impressed that they take the time to double check all that prior to check in.
- The lobby was beautiful
- Location was awesome for those who like walking downtown

The bad:
- the room seemed mostly newish, but the tub was black. I don't want to say it's dirty, but it looked like over time it was scrubbed so it just had that coat on it. The bathroom floor was not clean, and right on the base of the toilet seemed like urine stain.

Hilton Garden Inns do not provide breakfast and we knew that going in, but they did have cookies at the front desk so that was nice.

Only stayed one night but wished we could have stayed longer. Rooms were very nice and wished I had brought my swimsuit for the outdoor hot tub and firepit area. Cookies in the lobby for an evening snack were nice too. Location is great walking distance to our favorite restaurant Park Grille. We would definitely stay here again.

When going on vacation, my husband & I always stay at our favorite vacation spot, Gatlinburg....This year, we decided on our favorite "Hilton" chain & picked the Gatlinburg Hilton Garden Inn. The hotel is breathtaking, located on River Road which is a great location away from the downtown traffic walking distance to everything. We specifically requested a "River Road side, mountain view, king room" NOT...Mt. LaConte which over looks the parking lots of downtown. The fireplace in our room along with the large picture window to look out of made the stay even better. We would have preferred the "balcony" room next door but they fill up a year in advance. Whatever you do....DO NOT get a room with the Euro-bed which is adjustable (soft or hard). We thought it sounded great...but was a total nightmare....There was no adjustment...only DEATHLY HARD.....our backs pounded the entire time. The staff even topped the mattress with a heavy mattress pad to cushion the hardness (no luck). Switching rooms was not an option...unless of course we wanted the Mt. LaConte view side of the hotel (no way). We highly recommend this hotel.....

Room Tip: DO NOT....allow the front desk to talk you into the "Mt. LaConte" side of the hotel. Only...
