“Good room for a great price!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 10, 2012

We stayed in room 313. The bathrooms were newly renovated with granite counter tops and a new shower. The room didn't smell of smoke (thank goodness!) or any other odor for that matter. Everything was clean and nice. The air condition was nice and cold. The mini fridge was also very cold. There wasn't a microwave in our room, but we just went down to the breakfast area and used the one there. The location is perfect! It's so close to the strip. The parking is free and we never had a problem finding a parking spot. There was free WiFi which was great. The gentleman at the front desk was very nice and helpful. It's not the Hilton so don't expect luxury. But our room was great and especially for the price. And they accept pets for an additional $10 per day which is a plus! People with pets will probably be put in the old smoking rooms down on the 1st or 2nd floor. We stayed here last summer with our dog and the room did have an old cigarette smell. I'm glad our room didn't this time. My only complaints about the place aren't major ones. The first being that there are about 2 inch gaps under the doors from the hallway. You can hear in the rooms and you can hear in the hall... all too well. Kind of stinks for privacy issues. We weren't in the room much so it wasn't that big of a deal, but I suggest inside voices. The other complaint is that there is 1 elevator. And it is s-l-o-w! I'm in shape, but I have asthma so walking up 3 flights of stairs isn't easy for me. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. You may want to request a room on the 3rd floor, or at least Room 331, if you don't want the cigarette smell.

The hote is right off the Main street in Gatlinburg so it is a short walk to get to main street but far enough away from the noise. The hotel looks updated on the outside but inside it is fairly old and worn. For the price we paid the room served our purpose – for us the room is just a place to sleep. The room was comfortable and clean.

Located approx. 50 yards from Gatlinburg's main street, within walking distance of everything. Rates were cheap at $40 per night, however the maids did a poor job of keeping the room clean over our three night stay. Parking is free ($5 to $8 around town). Tip: There are trolleys that go to several different locations, the green line travels up and down the main "strip" and is free. Great way to get a feel for what's around town. Look on street poles for trolley signs, which indicate where stops are.

Room Tip: Rooms on left side of hallway (when facing front door from road) have a limited view. Rooms on right...

small, ultra clean room, friendly staff. This place is perfect if you don't spend much time in your room. The price was very cheap for the quality of the room.

Room Tip: specify non smoking if you don't smoke

When it is said that you get what you pay for, it isn't an excuse for dirty rooms with a foul odor.
First off: the location. It is a short distance from the main strip in Gatlinburg. A very easy walk; you couldn't ask for much better.
Now, the interior. As soon as you step inside, you are greeted by the smell of cigarette smoke, urine, and body odor. Our room, 129, was small. It was expected, of course, all we wanted was a place to sleep at night. We used our own sheets and towels since the ones provided were stained. The hallway was noisy but once inside we didn't hear much besides the traffic outside.
The hotel is advertised as pet-friendly. Though pets are allowed, I would hesitate to call it friendly. There is only a small patch of grass separating the parking lots for a dog to do his business.
We will not be staying here again.

This is not a good place for children at all. We where heading out for lunch at noon and the kids where in the hall for about 5mins when I get a ring from the front desk telling me my children are being to loud. Okay for one its noon everyone should be out or up and for two they are children and we where about to head back out(they where in the hall less then 10mins when I got the call and all they where doing was walking back and forth laughing and talking). Second thing is they did not have the the room price posted in the room which is TN state law. Third not only did I see a assortment of bugs not just cockroaches and on the third floor mind you but two other guest where complaining about the same thing as I was checking out the next morning. Fourth walls are paper thin so if you are next to someone "getting it on" you will hear every act they are doing which is very unpleasant(we turned to TV up). I will never stay here again would rather sleep in my truck next time then this place. Also I found many other places even closer to the strip for the same price with bigger rooms, pool, and friendlier ppl.

Room Tip: The AC unit in the room will go out sometimes so you have to keep clicking the reset button on it ve...

Courteous, friendly, helpful staff. Accomodations were clean. Facility fulfilled the function of providing a place to sleep at a reasonable price.
