“Hefty portions of good food”

We visited this restaurant during Thanksgiving week. What a meal! Our party of 10 was seated after a 30 minute wait. We were so hungry and ordered bar-b-que dinners, grilled trout, hamburgers, chicken tenders, & steak. Our waiter was very attentive and the food came pretty quick. Every one said they really enjoyed thier food and we walked out with lots of leftovers for the next day's lunch as the helpings are very generous. We topped it off with dessert. I had eaten here once before and enjoyed that meal as well. They can accommodate large groups easily and this restaurent is kid friendly.

“Average BBQ”

The highlight of the meal was the selection of bread including cornbread, biscuits and fresh garlic yeast rolls. I had the triple-meat combo and while the chicken tenders were exception, the ribs and pulled pork were only marginal.

“Enjoyable dining experience”

Late lunch at Calhouns. Hubby enjoyed scrumptious ribs and I enjoy pulled pork plate. Both delicious. Service was excellent.

“Great food and service!”

We arrived in Gatlinburg after dark the Saturday after Thanksgiving with the street packed and limited parking. We just happened upon a spot before the entrance to the National Park and saw this restaurant with lots of folks around...so glad we chose this place. We had a 15 minute wait at the bar and a great place to sit near the fireplace. Our food was delicious, very reasonably priced and the staff was attentive. You can find plenty to chose from here.

staff was great walking from HGI food great would go again beer cold ribs great trout out of this world didnt dessert too full
