My husband and I stopped here for breakfast since the line was not out the door. I figured it was more of a locals place, which is why the line was not as long as the places in town (Gatlinburg). Yes it is a local's place and the day we went was extremely busy. The owner said it was the busiest day of the year with a good mixture of locals and tourist. We were seated within 20 minutes and the dining area is cozy.
The menu has a good selection and the prices ranged from $2.95 Kids Meals, and adult meals are around $5.95-8.95 for breakfast. If you are only looking at the prices maybe this is the place for you, but honestly the food was very good. My omelette was overcooked and the potatoes were dry. I think the best part was my biscuit. My husband had their pancakes and they were ok, nothing to really make someone say oh these are good. The coffee was terrible. No matter how much creamer or sweetner I added, the bad aweful taste would not go away. Maybe their lunch sandwiches are better, but I will not be going back.
