The Positives-I can't imagine a better location in Gatlinburg...close to everything, within walking distance of most attractions. Room was nice, with most things new or like new, nice balcony overlooking creek (except there's a road and another hotel just on the other side of the creek), nice whirlpool bath, nice gas fireplace, comfortable bed (pillows not so much), parking is free, and breakfast bar was good. Staff helpful and friendly.
The Negatives-Walls are thin and I couldn't get the heat unit fan to stay "on" to drown out the noise from screaming tourists outside to guests arriving at all hours of the night, to noisy service vehicles, so that made for a restless night. The WiFi was so slow (room 201 very close to office), so doing anything on the Internet was nearly impossible. Somewhat pricey, although everything in Gatlinburg seemed to be expensive, but the fact that parking, Internet (if it had worked better) and breakfast was included helped a little.
Despite the negatives, I would stay again.
