I stayed 3 days because I had to since I accompanied my husband attending a conference. The TV only had 20 channels which was all news and sports. No addition of a DVD allowed and no pay per view movies. Maids did not speak english and could not understand needed towels since only one was provided. Breakfast buffet looked great but when asked to purchase and take to room said not allowed. I could not believe this. I did not want to sit down in the restaurant by myself and eat. I highly recommend River House. I chose to come for rest and hanging out at hotel but I wish I had stayed home and all other spouses agree of attendees agree.

This place is AWESOME! Not only was it a great price, but the staff was wonderful and the amenities were fabulous!

The Gatlinburg Lodge was nice overall. Our children really enjoyed the indoor pool. Room was nice. Hotel in a good location in Gatlinburg.

After booking my stay at Glenstone, I read some mixed reviews online. This was my 3rd visit to Glenstone that has spanned from nearly 27 years from my 1st visit. This time the room was very spacious and clean. The facility met my every expectation, I knew it was not 1st class; but exactly what I wanted from an economical point. I would suggest the Glenstone to anyone for a nice place to stay while in Gatlinburg. We took a can of Fabreeze, but didn't really need it. It had a family atmosphere and everyone of the staff was very polite and helpful.
