“awe inspiring”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 9, 2013

walking up to the chapel, take time to ring the bell. this will help clear your thoughts and let in the beauty that unfolds before you. one of my favorite times is at dawn when mornings first light kisses the mountains and the fog swirls around the Tetons.

“First stop in GTNP”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 25, 2013

really just sets the stage for your vacation into GT and YNP. I'm not the least bit religious and I go to GTNP at least two or three times a month and stop here at least once a month just to get a good view. The church is really a neat building. It's not any sort of architectural genius like the chateaus or houses of parliament, it's classic western that's almost 100 years old.

“A Beautiful Chapel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

The Chapel of the Transfiguration is a small building in a majestic setting. The inside was rustic and charming, and the view from the altar was completely breathtaking. We spent about 15 minutes looking at the Chapel and its grounds. It is a brief stop, but unforgettable.

“Very Sweet place to stop”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2012

Nice, quiet, really sweet place to visit--just a little chapel in a field with a million dollar view beyond the cross... Good place for quiet reflection if you've run in to too many tourists for the day.

“Beautiful small piece of history”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 3, 2012

Well worth the stop in conjunction with neighboring Menor's Ferry. The Tetons view backing the altar is spectacular and a very popular photo stop. Suggest early morning or sunset for visits with best photo ops. We were lucky enough to visit while the foliage was in full color and got some amazing pictures.
