Love love this place ! We have eaten at top resturaunts around the world and the crooked spoon rates up there. We had lamb shank with roasted potatoes and acorn squash - rich, balanced and savory - diver sea scallops with blue crab anad sweet pea risotto - crispy char and cooked to perfection. The crab cake appetizer was wonderful with the spicy jicama slaw. Capped off the meal with a piece of carrot cake. We did have to wait for 45 minutes but sat at the bar and had an appetizer. We enjoyed our anniversary dinner and a celebration feast after being out on the boundary waters for 4 days. We headed back the next day for lunch which was tasty. Enjoyed the grilled chicken sandwich and pork tenderloin. Tried the chicken white bean chilli for an appetizer and again had to end the meal with carrot cake before our drive home to Chicago. What a delightful spot for fresh creative food. The service is friendly and a bit slow but what rush are you really in while on vacation. Met some folks on the street and recommended they go for lunch. We ran into them at lunch and they raved about the crime brûlée and crab cake. Please go you will not be disappointed.
