“Lusten ski trip”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 23, 2014 NEW

Ate at the HHG two nites did not care so much for ribs but the walleye was very good . Liked the frog legs appetizer but not the Camberley. Pizza was a big hit. Had great friendly service. Nice funky vibe with a lot of GF choices.

“Creatively North Shore”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 22, 2014 NEW

Second visit, will come back whenever in Grand Marais. Sorry Sven and Ole...Very creative take on North Shore inspired foods. Maple Bacon Creme Brûlée, for example. Walleye sandwich of course, but homemade dill tarter sauce, homemade spiced catsup for the fries. Spinach salad with craisens walnuts and feta and a maple Dijon to die for. With a great view, and many obscure Superior craft beers in bottles. Who could want more?

“An unexpected surprise”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 13, 2014

We visited with another couple and were excited by the wine and food selection. After a long day of hiking in the woods is was a very civilized night out. I can only vouch for the Duck Confit and Pasta Primavera, but they were both excellent. The Grille is in an old house repurposed. The front porch looks like a great spot for a cold drink and sandwich with a view of the lake in the summer.

“Great Food; Quiet Atmosphere.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 4, 2014

Probably the nicest place in town in terms of class and style. The food is great. The whole place is quiet and makes for a peaceful ambiance to dine in. You can either sit outside or inside, both are comfortable.
