Lets face it, life is what you make of it. I am a city girl that loves spas, shopping, traveling, the ocean and the Internet. I do not own a pair of hiking sandals. Wish I would have for the past week. We had a group of at least 20 of us. Some camped in tents, and RV's. We stayed in Bear, and Fox Cabins. Both beautiful and quaint. All Cabins were VERY clean. The setting is beautiful. Hungry Jack Lake is probably one of the clearest lakes I have seen. I don't usually swim in lakes, but enjoyed at least 3 days in the lake swimming with my children and the dogs. We also fished from boats, caught mostly Bass and Sunnies. Also caught right from the docks. Thanks to all that helped me bait my line, and take the fish off. We took a couple of hikes. My daughter made good friends with Buddy the resident dog. He followed us on our hike. Or he lead us on our hike.
