“great food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2012

While on our stay in Page we ate at Bonkers twice both times very good,I had the ribs the first night which were excellent. The only draw back we sat outside on the patio and the traffic on the nearby street can be a little noisy.

“Surprisingly good”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 22, 2012

What a crazy name for a restaurant! We had our doubts, but we were pleasantly surprised. The salad bar items were all very fresh. I ordered falafel and it was surprisingly good! Also got a soda and wine mixed drink that was good. Our waitress was very nice and the service was great. The older gentleman (the owner perhaps?) also came over to us and made sure everything was going well. We enjoyed it so much we returned here the next day for lunch but they were closed - they don't serve lunch. We were disappointed, as Bonkers was much better than the Ranch House and Grill, which is where we ended up going instead. Just an FYI - according to their website they won't reopen until March 4, 2013 for the next tourist season.

“The food was very good and the service was excellent”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 17, 2012

We stopped by in the early evening and made reservations for later the same day. The owner took our reservation and advised us that the restaurant was closing in a few days for their four month winter break and that not all items on the menu were available. He briefed us on the items not available, but there were still many items to choose from on the menu.

When we arrived for our dinner reservation, our table was held and waiting for us. The owner welcomed us back and again reminded us of the items not available on the menu. He told us that his daughter would be right over to take our order and if anything was not to our satisfaction to personally let him know.

We chose the hamburger and steak and I also opted for a side salad and she actually brought salad bowls for the both of us to partake in the salad bar. Our steak and burger was very good and the waitress kept checking with us to make sure everything was okay.

We in general had a very enjoyable dinner and excellent service from the staff. We were able to have a nice conversation with the owner after dinner and he stated how they were looking forward to their to their much deserved time off. He stated that it's pretty much a family run business, though they do have additional assistance during the busiest periods.

We were fortunate to have been passing through town before the restaurant closed for the winter break. Everyting about this place from the food to owners/staff was truely exceptional.

“Decent Restaurant with Very Good Service”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2012

Ate there in September as it was recommended by our B&B hosts. The decor is nothing special but the food was decent and the service was very good. Wine selections were limited but the salad bar was a nice surprise.

“Went there twice”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 10, 2012

We stayed in Page the week Bonkers closed for 4 months. We were greeted by the manager who told us that if anything wasn't to our satisfaction we were to tell him. He then explained that due to them closing for the season they were out of four items on the main menu. He asked if we were happy with that, we were. There was still plenty of choices and the specials menu. Our server was brilliant. I think her name was Danielle. She made sure we had everything we needed. She was fast and efficient. Our food was delicious both nights that we went. We certainly had no complaints. I doubt we will ever go back to Page as we are from the UK but if we did, we would certainly eat there with no hesitation.
