“The area is expensive : good deal !”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

Rooms are large, clean, swimming pool. Book in advance because the area is super busy.
For almost the same price you could have a Motel 6 room in the area, this is NOT a motel 6, this is a nice place to stay, and relax. I just had one night over there but I could have stay much more without any problem :)

Comfortable and clean double queen bed room. Although only two floors, there is an elevator. Room was spacious and quiet. Room is kept up with air conditioning and/or heating working ok. Complimentary breakfast is the usual fare in a clean, spacious area.

Room Tip: Rooms towars the back on the second floor have spectacular views of sunset/sunrise.

I stayed in a king room since that was cheaper ($55 weeknight) for one person. Been on the road for a couple of days and paid about the same at he other hotels (Motels 6 & 8). This place was MUCH better! Did not find any random hairs in the bathroom or between the sheets. Yes, the towels are small but at least they were white and stain-free, like the bed sheets. Room included a flat-screen TV & fridge and microwave which was a surprise. Love the full-length mirror. Location was perfect too; coming from 89 South, you could turn right onto Lake Powell, stop at Bonkers for dinner and be at hotel less than 2 minutes later. Don't waste your time looking for another hotel--stay at this one!

Hotel/motel accommodations in Page are extremely overpriced in general. When planning an extensive trip of the National Parks in the Utah/Arizona circle - this geographical location is way overpriced in comparison to others experienced on our trip. Originally we had booked a different hotel - but a review indicating that motel had bed bugs motivated us to change reservations. Other recent reviews of this facility were shared by our group - the rooms were seedy. We did not find them to be especially "dirty" - but very run down and old. Towels and linens were not of the quality we are used to in places we usually stay. So to spring for well over $100 per night in this location was, in effect, a real rip off. Page may be one of those locations on an itinerary where you chose to pay more in order to even be comfortable - and I wish we had done that. We did have a very nice view from our window of the hills beyond Lake Powell. The "free" breakfast was very mediocre and the light dinner we had there the previous evening was equally blah! Do what I should have done - continue to shop the area before booking.

We spent two nights here and would have to say it was the worst accommodation on our 3 week trip. Had tried to get into Days Inn but couldn't, thought this sounded like a reasonable alternative but were disappointed.

Firstly, there is no lift to the second floor and you have to lug your bags up stairs, along a 'bridge' over the reception area and then down the hall to your room. Secondly, 'lake view' is a bit misleading. You get a view of a small arm of the lake in the distance - note this lake was formed due to the dam so it is not a regular shaped lake and there is no easy access to it. In general the outlook was fine with a view across to the mountains and the Glen Canyon dam as well as the small view of the lake, just think they are marketed incorrectly.

Thirdly and most importantly the room was very dated, the only thing going for it was that it was large. We could not open the sliding door to the small balcony on arrival, front desk staff came up and had to manhandle it back onto its track. Even then it did not run very freely due to its age. Towels were very thin and aged.

The breakfast was the worst we had anywhere in our travels - stick to the cereal and toast, the pancakes were terrible - how do you muck this staple up? It wasn't just an off day once, we tried again the second day, still terrible.

Front desk staff were adequate but clearly just there to do the job, there was no warmth or friendliness. We were at least grateful that they came up fairly quickly to fix the problem with the sliding door. Breakfast staff did not even speak to us, they simply went around wiping down tables, no welcome, no pointing out what was where - everything was higgledly piggledy placed around the service area with little rhyme or reason - sugar with the spreads away from the coffee machine and the toaster.

I would most definitely not stay here again.

This place is ancient, badly in need of repairs and the whole place is dirty especially the rooms. Linens and towels should have been replaced years ago. Bus tours use this place so should give you an idea what type of place this is. The free breakfast very limited and of very poor quality. With all of the places to stay in Page avoid this one....

Room Tip: Don't stay here....

It was the view from the balcony that made my sister call this "eye-candy"! The rooms were fine and reasonable but if you need lots of space in the bathroom be forewarned, ours was a "postage stamp" size though we were okay with it.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view - they have many and it is a fine sight over the dam and the lake
