“Unbelievable View”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 29, 2013

We ended up here late in the day when it was getting dark but really worth going. Don't miss it. Just don't go too close to the edge as their are no barriers.

“Great Sight”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 29, 2013

This is a wonderful sight to behold. It is a 5 minute drive south on US89 to the car park, it is easily found. From there it is a 10 minute walk in sand to the lookout point, don't get too close to the edge though.

Definitely worth a visit and can be done quite easily in an hour there and back.

“Worth a visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 29, 2013

We took the short drive from Page and walked 15 minutes from the car park to fantastic scene.

Take your camera and watch out for the many mad people who risk their lives standing on the edge of what is, quite simply, compressed sand (5 fatalities apparently last year...)

“Unexpected, yet magnificent place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2013

I saw few pictures of this place and I wanted to see it for real. This place is at the end of a nice 3/4 of a miles walk, and what a place ! The carving in the rock is almost unreal. I suggest visiting it at the sun down, there are some spectacular pictures to do.
Here is a secret :
From a high rock turn around and keep your eye on the lake Powell rocks : for 2-3 minutes the rocks become pink while the Sun is going down : Amazing !
Be careful if going with younger kids, there is a huge drop all around the horseshoe.

“Absolutely breathtaking view”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 27, 2013

We enjoyed this hike and view immensely. I would suggest the state supplies garbage cans at the kiosk. I witnessed a foreign tourist depositing a soiled diaper behind a rock. It wasthen I noticed quite a bit of garbage around the parking area.

However, trash in parking lot aside, it was an enjoyable hike, not hard as some reviewers have reported. The view is worth it!!
