“It's a new regular motel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 19, 2013

I deliberately chose this motel because it was relatively new. Staff was very friendly and kind, they even granted me early check-in. The room itself was very clean, the furniture still new, nothing rund down yet. It was a wonderful experience. The motel is situated on a street that has been established over the past two years. Across from the motel is a self car wash, which was very convenient, however, if your room faces the street, it could get a bit annoying when people start washing their cars at around midnight or early in the morning (4pm). I had a very pleasant stay. The breakfast area can get a bit crowded at peak times, but staff was very attentive in refilling everying as quickly as possible. The motel itself is close to Walmart, McDonalds, two gas stations and of course, the Horseshoe Bend.

We highly recommend this hotel if you're staying in or near Glen Canyon / Lake Powell. We were on the third floor and the rooms looked as if they'd never been slept in. We had two rooms and both were very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The free breakfast had a nice selection and the Belgium cinnamon waffles were great (make to order). My only issue would be with the lack of welcoming/friendly attitude of the front desk clerk. Otherwise, was a great hotel!

Room Tip: If you book early (we booked several weeks before our stay) over the internet, you'll get a MUCH...

Nothing special but clean, comfortable, served good variety of stuff for breakfast. Did not use swimming pool but looked nice. Across from Mac and Walmart. Minutes from Horseshoe Bend, which I recommend to go. A few min drive to other restaurants in town. Good choice. Recommended. Stayed 1 night. Visited Antelope Canyon and then did boat tour on Lake Powell.

Hotel Receptionist was a lady who greeted me when I checked in on 5/8 and asked me if I want to upgrade the room for $20. I politely declined. Five minutes after the check-in, she knocks on my door, says that I did not get your credit card numbers correctly. Can I have that card again? Without hesitation, I handed out my card to her. She returned it after 5 minutes. I checked-out the next day. Couple of days after, I found that a charge appeared from the hotel. I called in and asked what it is about, and the person told me that you had an extra person in your room. Wow...why is your staff so slimy? Isn't it necessary to tell customers what will be the charges in advance rather than they finding out later on. Customer service was rude and non-existent, He won't give me the manager's number and said that the manager doesn't have the office phone. Sure, that sounds believable.

Booked for a one-night stay en-route between Monument Valley & Bryce Canyon to give us the chance to visit Antelope Canyon. Recently built Hotel, good size room, clean and quiet. Reception guy very helpful with local advice & directions. Breakfast (incl) usual US hotel stuff - all very sweet and sugary, but waffles good. Massive Walmart open all hours just down the road, and Jack-in-the-Box across the road (Sourdough Jack & Curly Fries for dinner...YUM!!) Great Hotel for a transit stop.

We had a comfortable stay here. It is a fairly new Inn. The wifi worked well, the breakfast was standard. It is a good location for visiting Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend. There is a WalMart right across the street and being on a 2 week road trip in the West, you learn that there are not many places to stock up on supplies for picnics, etc. We were glad to see it.

My husband and I stayed 2 nights while travelling through the area. This was the best value for money hotel we found while still providing a nice clean and comfortable room. The bed was comfy, the free wifi expected and while not in the middle of town it is within walking distance to Walmart and a number of fast food eateries. The breakfast was only ok but can't complain because it was included in the room rate. Service was ok with us being turned away initially when we turned up early to check in. Although they do indicate a check in time we thought there could be some flexibility if the rooms are free.
